    Thanks BARM.

I have just tested a KURO version and it exibits the same fault.

Scouser says on this link:- Eurovox Max Security http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/141/468229

that the CC may have done something .It looks like it might be widespread.

We Will have to wait and see and hope for a fix from one of the gurus.

My Eurovox BLUE and my THEBOX are working OK on the same cable.

Strange that only some boxes are affected - namely the RED and the KURO.

I have two boxes, Euro - Vox – Max V2008. Both are brand new. It seems that there is a technical fault as both boxes have the same fault, the ‘stand by’ light flashes on and off continuously. Any ideas on how to reset or reboot the box? Or, do any of you know how to get a hold of a circuit diagram for the box?

If you could get back to me, it would be much appreciated.

If they are brand new send them back to your supplier as they are still under warranty

I have brought ten boxes, and two of them are faulty...

I can’t get a hold of the dealer who sold them to me; he seems to have disappeared...

Need to sort this problem ASAP!

i find your better off putting in frequencies manually as power scan seems to miss some of them. you can find these on this site easily enough. depending on your provider which frequencies you need they vary from one to the other as far as i know.then you just press update channels.

My guess is that it is either a connection or a signal problem. Have a look at both.

Make sure you have the TV set to a premium channel in order for it to catch the codes.

well then you have a lot of reading back over threads to do ..if you haven`t updated the new firmware then do it right away you will need a null modem cable and the right sortware for your box all the info you need is all in the threads in bold at top of forum

JTAG ---now there’s a frightening expression.
I have a Eurovox RED and a Eurovox black which are both dead ( screen shows NO SIGNAL and LOCK LED flashes. Both genuine boxes.) and I believe that I have to JTAG them to bring them back to life. It’s a step into the unknown for me. Has anyone done this and could they please give me the benefit of their experience?

I bought a JTAG kit on flee bay yesterday so I will have it in a few days.

    Location Dublin City North.
