right then go to this link and download the blue software dated (21/04/08) and then connect your box up to the pc with null modem and leave your box on standby with no scarts or tv cables connected to it then open up the loader and hit download and it then should pick up your box then hit start and wait till its finished ... here`s the link http://www.freewebs.com/cableassist/eurovoxproducts.htm

    Thanks gman496,
I saw that stuff before but it meant nothing to me . Hopefully next week I will have it under my belt and I will be able to pass on my experience to others. I have learnt everything so far by reading on these forums, picking up tips from the helpful posters who are heroes one and all.

Living in Manchester, with ex c+w. After updating the codes and doing a new powerscan I seem to get all the channels except Sky Sports Xtra. Can anyone help me get it back?

That's a question for Scouser, I think he is the master of Jtagging.

I have absolutely no experience of it whatsoever.

It was something I was thinking about finding out about some time back & just came across that tutorial on my travels so I just added it to my tool box.

@ gman no prob sure when it comes down to doing one im sure we`ll find out more sure i had a look on page 2 of the forums and there was a small thread involving scouser, celtic and eamo about jtaggin it seems that s*ymax or S*y jtag whichever that sounds easiest to do so hopefully that works with the other boxes cos they were on about a starview box on that thread any how we learn something each day one bit at a time .. any how this forum is getting quiet for a change lets just wait to see what n*l have up their sleeve im sure it wont be this quiet for long
