I'm looking for idiot proof instructions for installing the latest firmware for my 3 month old EuroVox 2008 MaxV.

I was following this thread a few weeks ago and getting the N*L C***s on another thread on this forum but am now ready to take the plunge as I've finally gotten my hands on a null modem cable (9 pin female on both ends) and it fits both the port on the EuroVox and the 10101 port on the back of my laptop which BTW is running Vista in case that makes any difference.

Can anyone provide me with an idiots guide to downloading the right software for the 2008 MaxV and installing etc?

i got cable in maplins blanchardstown it cost about €18.99 bought it this time last year and well got my monies worth i suggest everyone do the same and then come back for advice/help or to give some input.

 

try m*plins there is one beside toy master near jervis

 

yeah i paid 16 for the null modem and 22 for the adaptor then my mate went in and they charged hlm 32 for adaptor i think thats way too dear
