Eurovox Max problem

Thanks for that but it is not working.
Just went into TV settings and it was already set up for letter box, tried to mess around with it but it not changing anything and it keeps on jumping size and it is very annoying.

 

its probably the format in which the prog is filmed in.
Do you have auto on your tv soemtimes we have to kepe changing box or tv from WS to letterbox to full auto etc etc depending on the channel and the fomrat its filmed in. adverts are fine. I think dependsing on the make model of tv ocne yove changed the format from 16:9 to say 4:3 you have to change tv channels or turn tv on/off again to set it. try that.

 

It happens in all the channels not just the one program, it used to work fine for the last few weeks since I have it updates and even this morning but now can even watch it as it jumps constantly. Do u think that I need to reprogram the box or reset it.

 

oh dunno sounds weird but well its worth a try! or do you have a diff scart socket to try, and have you checked that all leads are pushed in right - that might be a problem.
tbh ive never heard of this problem on here, maybe one of the experts will see this later and be able to help

 

have to say i ain't heard of this prob only when they broadcast in diff formats.

is it at all poss the box is at fault? that is to say faulty?

Hi I'm not sure if this has been asked i looked back and couldn't find it so appologies if someone has already asked. I have had the eurovox for a couple of months and I had it flashed about a month or so ago, problem is it can take up to 2 hours for it to update is there a fix for this or do i just have to put up with it. im on nthell dublin

 

If its a eurovox max v black use the 28/04 firmware its a big improvement you will find it under my pic in eamos library in the eurovox folder

hey just wondering if any one can help me bout the null modem cabel today downloaded the software for eurovox max v black an when i conect it to the laptop an press down load it says it cant find the receiver which com do i wanna use 1 2 3 or four what do i do here any help would b great thankz

 

just try them all,are you using a null modem cable?or a null modem cable in conjunction with a usb to serial adapter?

 

null modem cable in conjunction with a usb to serial adapter but when i try com 1 2 4 it says com port is not available

 

click your start button, go to my computer and right click, click manage,then device manager, then go to ports (COM&LPT), if your cable is installed correctly it will be here, select it and go to properties, assign it to com port 1-4 whichever is free, sometimes you have to do a restart or it might work straight away.

 

go to my computer-view system information-click on hardware-device manager-click on ports(ltp)you should see your usb adapter click on that go to port settings-advanced-and change the com port to 1-4 if this dosn't work try using a different usb hub.

sorry my box has gone again and i cant find that cable any were but i was told there's a toolbar u can download and it has them on it
