Eurovox Max problem

ok im on the full power scan menu now...

 

ok on the top where it says mode i want you to get normal on that

Start >100.00
Stop >870.00
Symbol rate >6887Mbaud
Symbol rate >6887Mbaud

Leave the rest blank and then press the yellow button again ok this will take about 40 min to do so have a cup of tea or whatever then come back here ok

it has finnished scannin n a list of freq n channels r on the screen now

 

Ok now press the red button to autoscan the channels in ok

 

i did that it didn find any channels

 

Did it find the freq

 

yeah it found 14 of dem

 

ok highlight one and press ok then press i think it is blue button to manual scan that freq and see what happens ok

 

i ticked al d freq off one by one n scanned each of dem bu it wont pick up on dem..

 

Ok what area are you in and do you have access to a null modem cable for your box

Ok what i want you to do is go back to config and do a factory reset of your box to default setting on the 6887 symbol rate ok then what i need you to do is send me your email address not on here pm it to me look on the right of my post and there is a head click it and send it to me and i will send you what you need to get the box sorted hopefully ok so do the reset first

 

fergus u wouldnt by any chance send me the solution aswell this is terribly annoying your a god send

 

do the same thing i told emma to do with your email address pm it to me only also this will only work if you are in dublin area ok

 

ok i got the cables my laptop is hooked up to my eurovox not through usb though using a 15pin to 9 pin adapter i got your email what next

 

That wont work has to be 9 pin to 9 pin null modem cable only you can try but i will be surprised if it works for ya

 

Ferg I have a CDF uploaded to Eamos since the last frequency change that will do the trick.
