    hey can anyone tell me how to change the codes (how to find them )i never changed them before and just put new firmware on so i want to change the codes to see if it up dates itself so i know if i done it right cheers

    If you downloaded the latest firmware there should be no need to manually install the codes, it should tune in "the box" automatically

    My undeerstanding of the question was that the person wanted to see if they changed the codes manually...the box would autoroll and update...NOT that they just wanted the codes.

    I don't think Shaddow meant anything by that Dude comment, seems more friendly than picky.
    Maybe the fact that your post was in bold he took it up wrong.
    Anyway once the problem is solved that's all that matters.

    I am a new user - so hopefully I won't get any of the bad feeling associated with other new users only looking for codes etc.
    I have many issues - the main one that I'm thick and don't know anything about anything.
    I have read the majority of this thred - mostly about Eurovox Max. I have a Eurovox ultra on dreamworldz 1.6 - does no one own/ talk about these anymore - am I behind the times?

    IVE BEEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD FIRMWARE BUT AM HAVING PROBLEMS WHEN I PUSH THE DOWNLOAD A BOX HEADED FIRMWARE VERSION 2.10 THEN COM3 AND START .THE NEXT BOX IS HEADED BOOTMODE TELLING ME RECIEVER NOT DETECTED IM USING A LABTOP WITH A USB SERIAL CONVERTOR WITH A NULL MODEM. ANY IDEAS WHATS GOING WRONG WOULD BE APPRECIATED

    Can you drop the caps please, it's a forum rule becasue it looks like you are shouting and it makes it more difficult to read.

    I'm not sure I understand your mail.

    What box do you have
    What firmware are you trying to download
    Is the box and PC connected correctly
    Are you sure you have a null modem cable

    Have a look in the shared folders file at the end of my post and see if you can find the file you are looking for.

    sorry about the cap s
    i ve a eurovox max v ,im useing a nikkai serial lead (null modem)
    along with a usb serial covertor .it screws into the back of the box so thats fine and ive tried all 3 of my usb ports but with the same outcome.im sure im using the right firmware as it says the name of the box on the heading of the download box
    dont know ? sorry again about the caps .cheers

    What firmware are you downloading?
    Is your box a genuine or a clone?
    Your 100% sure the cable is ok and connecting properly?

    updated the evox using the correct software but now its just saying " Channel not found " even after i did the full scan can any1 help ??
