Eurovox Max problem

i looked at that list but its says its just for dublin so does that mean that other areas have not changed - coz ive not got a problem in my area. and a channel list i downloaded a while ago is not the same as the freqs i have so are their different lists for different areas

a full power scan should sort it out fergus would i be right in saying?

 

Hiya am new to the forum. I have a eurovox and had no problems with but my sister just got a Eurovox Max V 2008. When connected its only the free channels that appear, all the other ones are requesting the smartcard. I tried auto scanning it and then thought of updating the keycodes as these were changed several times in April but pressed Menu and Yellow button and nothing happens!. A disk has came with it but mine was ready to go, do I need to install this disk? Sorry if this is a stupid query but am stuck lol

 

more than likely the disk you have has the up to date firmware on it so yeah give it a go.

alternative to the disc you can always download the firmware from the link below also.

 

Went and got the eurovox and disc, a cable came with it but it won't connect with my laptop anywhere. Any ideas?

Hiya sorry should have said, I seen that and got one. I go through the steps to download and it doesn't recognise the box. It asks what port I want to use then just freezes. Am I doing something wrong?

 

The most common issue when installing the USB adapter and driver is selecting the correct port for your map software to recognize.

You must make sure your particular software is looking on the correct port for it to transfer any data.

To see which port your USB adapter is connected to, connect your USB adapter and follow the following instructions:

1. Go to the Start Menu
2. Right click on "My Computer"
3. Select "Properties"
4. Click on the "Hardware" tab
5. Click on "Device Manager"
6. Click the + sign next to "Ports (COM & LPT)"
7. One of the listed ports should indicate which port your USB adapter is connected to (e.g. COM1, COM2, COM3, etc.)
8. Go back to your map software program that you use to transfer data and make sure it is looking at the correct port.
9. You should be able to transfer data once the correct port is selected

hello lads can yee help me please i messed up some the changes i doubled up on some of them can you post me the 13 channells that i should have

 

i lost sky sport 2,3 .it went when i put 394.250 can somebody give me the right freg

 

Patwin if your N*L dublin my frequencies for s*y sports 2 and 3 is 355.500.
Hope it helps.

 

s*y sp*rts 2 and 3 are on 355.000 and if your having a few problems you could always do a power scan start 290.000 and stop 419.000 on 6887 that should get all your channels back ... just go into user installation go down to 355.000 and press ok to tick the box then press the blue button to manual scan and that will get them back
