No I have tried this already it says this is not for your receiver.

 

When you put the top on your box , how many vents does the tuner cover, count from the back of the box to the front.

 

8 vents

 

Then the firmware above should work, Sorry im out of ideas.

 

Thanks for the help I thought I was mad been reading about this stuff all week and still cant figure it out.I am thinking maybe the bloke swapped out the board or something.No matter hat Fw is on it it still says no signal.
What if I got a jtag interface and wiped it and started again what do you think?.

I was just reading back, Did your box take the MaxV_Kuro3 18-04-08 Firmware.

 

as far as i'm aware there was software avaiable to change a red to a black,so can you ask your mate if this is what he has done,if scoucer or fergus come along they will be able to confirm this, if its not dead there is no need for a jtag usually no signal just means a bad connection or your box is not connected to the tv properly ie coaxil into rf in and scart connected securely.

 

yep but still no signal.

 

My mate doesnt know what the other bloke did he just got them back that way.Also I know 100% its not my signal because I have a digivox and a superbox in the other rooms that I have tried on my connection no probs.

I might look for dry joints in the rf module later.

Do you know anywhere to buy a eurovox jtag in Dublin to flash the other dead box he has?.

Did you do a factory default then a power scan using the correct symbol rate,?

If so,
What symbol rate did you use and where abouts are you?

Yep I done a factory reset and a powerscan using 6.887 Im in Dub.

Hi Guys
New to this forum though i've been an avid reader. I have a Eurovox Max that has new firmware. Have about 95 chanels which is grand(in greater Dublin area). I just want know if its possible to add a single channel (LFC.TV) for the kids ya know!! (and me!)

Any advice much appreciated!

Yep, it's on 418.200 in Dublin (Do a manual search)
