All very ambiguous folks, either let us all in or PM each other with the nudge nudge wink wink stuff.
I would normally dismiss such stories about NTHell but with this source from sc0user I have to take heed, but guys, spread the news or let it rest until whatever happens happens...if at all.

I would say that we have all been here for years posting and reading and helping each other out, so on a loyalty level you should divulge what info you have even in a PM to us, if you are uneasy about letting it out...again if there is anything to let out in the first place.

 

i would love to be just filled in on what to expect so we know whats to come in the coming weeks if it does happen but it doesn`t sound too good

 

im sure there are a good few people who know already but maybe its just a bit risky sending this info on in case it gets to someone untrusted and leaks it all over the site but it wont be hush hush for much longer cos the stories are starting to build around my area all ready but ill wait to hear a official fact from this site

i am sure if people like scouscer and other experts say nthell and the rest of the ccs are going to change things they have good info, but it seems the ccs are shooting themselves in the foot with all the people who have taken their monthly sub from s£y to ccs to avail of the present situation.at the moment i am waiting for my last sub to s£y to run out and then i am joining 7 of my friends and relations who have already switched.

 

Had the same problem,done a full rescan and all came back.

 

hello lads i do not know what all the talk is about as long as we have people like scouser and celtic around and any way some people that have ntl dige offical have the old boxs there are very large boxs and they need to be replaced .so every body just relax and enjoy.

 

I agree, my post was just to say that those who are in the know should part with the information or don't post about it at all.

 

totally agree if some members are prevy to info that they do not wish to divulge they should keep it to themselves until they are ready to fill every one in,instead of causing panic around the forum no need for the nudge nudge wink wink attitude especially coming from the two most respected members in here,said my piece may regret it but whatever.

 

I agree and I do not regret saying what I said and neither should you, those involved should regret starting this.

Plus...if anyone thinks that CC's can change things or bring out new boxes and that within months even weeks a company will not have got one and copied it for general sale then you are kidding youself.

Everything is copiable and will be.
Everything is crackable and will be.

Our far eastern friends will copy and crack anything within weeks.
It's all just technology and if one person can design something it can be broken and copied.

Newbie in Carlow.
Have a neighbour with a Eurovox max.
I just my hands on one and am having trouble getting channels.
Followed the instructions with a powerscan.
During the scan I can see signal level/quality at 80-90%.
But no channels tune in.
I go from 100Mhz - 870Mhz.
Does anyone know does the strength/quality indicate anything meaningful in this case ?
Should The channel num increment when scanning ?
I have a splitter which I know is not recommended, but can't easily disconnect it. I have disconnected the TV from the other end.
The signal strength seems to be high so
I'm on piped ch0r*s

Any ideas ?

note john i said i may regret, i have always spoke my mind on this forum and always will,we will wait and see what happens and i think we have both said what we wanted to at this stage so i think we'll leave it at that for the moment, however at the end of the day its only tv if it goes it goes and myself personally will move on to something else,ffs never watch the bloody tv in any way i'm on the pc most of the time lol.

 

Hear hear...well said, I dont get to see much TV anyway...the missus is always hogging the freakin thing.
