Would anyone here be able to point me to a link or send me a channel file for a Eurovox Max V 2008 on NThell in Galway Ireland?

From what I have read, the file can be uploaded to a PC from a working box via DnUpMan or the the new KURO MFC software.

How to Upload the Channel file to a PC

    1. Connect the Eurovox to your PC using the
    RS232 cable provided.
    2. Plug in the power to the Eurovox.
    3. Now click the <Upload> button.

You will be prompted to specify a name for the channel file
    and a location to save.
When complete you will have a file with an extension of .CDF on your PC.

    Thanks Karljd,

There's a .cdf file there alright but it says DUB & I don't know if that's OK for use in Galway. It doesn't say which Eurovox model it for either. I wonder if they're all the same?

You can use a cdf from any EV box type to another. The Dublin N** CDF will not be an exact match, but you will get some channels,(By all means try it). I presume you are on true cable and not MMDS. A Galway CDF is quite hard to find but I will look out for one for you.

Thanks sc0user I appreciate that. If my mate does get a Eurovox I will up a Galway CDF file for sure. God knows there's enough people in this small City using them anyway ;-)

If you are trying this open this file
    MAX_V_KURO_BETA_WS_SB.rar
You will need WinR@r to extract it

Yes , I have uploaded it into the Eurov0x folder for you (Eamo's Library)

Download Winr@r , install it and then open the MAX_V_KURO_BETA_WS_SB.rar

this has a built in Loader for the Eurov0x , so all you have to do it connect the EV to the PC ,Put on stand-by and run the KURO and click DOWNLOAD

    Hi

I'm new to the Euro Vox Max V and I'm having trouble loading the channels.

The screen says 'channel not currently available'

When I select powerscan (290 - 500 mhz 6887) it appears to find 'something' as the quality rate goes to 85%. However, when the system returns to the user installation screen there are no channels or tps listed.

Please help! What am I doing wrong?

The frequency range you are using is too low. As I am not 100% on the frequency range for your area, do a FULL powerscan using symbol rate 6887. Are you sure you are on N**?
