Eurovox Max problem

Can anybody help? I have been getting a signal breakup for the past few months now, it's mainly during the day but ok at night, the message No Signal comes up for a short time and it seems to be a pulsed signal to throw off the decoder from locking on. I have a eurovox v 2008 with the latest software, any ideas?

 

Following on from my first post, it seems as though somebody is messing with the transmission signal during working hours 9-5pm as it stops at 5pm. Could it be that the cc's are trying to upset us? Northwest england.

at least their kind enough to fix it again by 5, you could always call the cc and ask if there is work being carried out in the area, tell them your reception is fuzzy

 

hi guys i am with nthell ireland and have noticed a few channels are missing i cant get the sci fi channel in at all anymore is it gone or am i doing something wrong

I',m waiting for my Eurovox max v 2008 to arrive and will need setup ie software ect loaded and looks as I've found the right place to come for help. THANKS. if anybody can help with nthell ect for redcar & cleveland would be great as I'm new to the Digi stuff.

 

can anyone explain the following; a friend of mine had an ev max v flashed the other day , and when he connected it back he got no stations , he put the cable into rf ,and a scart to the tv . he then put a lead male to female into the aerial part of the ev and the other end to the aerial part of his tv ,he then tried it again and got a list of stations, he selected one, and he now has 132 stations, can someone lets know how this happened . before he had to get it flashed he didnt use a 2nd cable

 

I have new Eurovox max v 2008 how can i lock some of the channels

individually at the moment if i put parental lock on and menu lock off nothing works without the pin no?

 

go to channel manager in the menu, go to the channel you want to lock and press the green button,enter the pin, normally 0000, job done.

 

no codes posted here, youll get banned asking for them.you need to update your evox when you get it, info to do so is in the link in my signature

 

you need the cable going from the rf in the evox to the back of your tv and the scart from the tv to the evox also to get pic and sound to the av station on your tv, thats all.

 

thanks for the quick reply axxxo ,the way he has it is nthell cable into rf in on e vox--- scart from e vox to tv , and a lead from aeriel on e vox to aerial on tv and he has stations . this is not the way you have instructed have you ever heard of a e vox connected and working like this,

only on evox tx, is it true cable or mmds, as in an ariel on the roof?wouldnt worry about it anyway once its working,ntl cable going to evox and scart going from evox to tv should be enough on true cable but the other cable will do no harm anyway

can some one help me i hav the firmware for eurovox max v. but my bos says codeupdating. what do i do

 

manually scanning on eurovox
TRy this first Manually scanning channels.
Press menu, Installation, User installation, Enter pin,
Then press ch edit (green button)
Then press Add (red button)
Use the v arrow on the remote change the frequency (whatever) change the Symbol rate to6887press ok repeat this process for the rest of the frequencies
exit once press ok on all the frequencies then press manual scan this will then scan on the tps your missing, you should end up with about 140 channells,when all the channels come in go to a premium channel ie sly premier and wait a few moments for the keys to update

Anybody help? My box has difficulty locking onto the signal at times, just wondering if the systems upgrade at the moment by the cc's has anything to do with it?82% signal, eurovox v, latest firmware installed.
