Eurovox Max problem

The frequencies and symbolrate karl gave are for dublin only.Don't know what they are for you but i'm sure they are here somewhere.
Don't worry all is not gone, there is a fix

 

hopefully someone will help me soon, i've managed to get bbc itv etc back but when i go through all my channels there's none of the premium channels there, don't think i could live without my sports or movie channels !

You Need To Do A Factory Default and Rescan

(Depending on the box you have and firmware Installed)

Press the Menu button on your remote, and then go into 'Config' menu and select 'Clear Data'

It will then ask for your PIN (default is 0000 or 1004)
Then select 'Factory Default'
It will then ask you to select the symbol rate use 6.952
Press OK when 'Reset to Factory Default Settings' comes up
It will then say 'Wait to Factory Settings' and will then start to do a Full Power Scan on 6.952
It will then search through for channels, - do not interrupt it until it finishes. It will then exit to allow you to view your programs, but the code being updated message will probably come up for a while, Put the box onto Sky Sports . It may only take a few mins but again do not interrupt it (even if you think it is not working!)

Sky Sports will come up and all your channels will be back and you won't have to manually enter the obvious anymore, providing you have the updated firmware.

1 CONNECT YOUR NULL MODEM CABLE

2 GET YOUR LOADER READY

3 THE LOADER AND FIRMWARE ARE COMBINED

4 TURN YOUR BOX OFF AT THE MAINS

5 PRESS THE CENTER DOWNLOAD BUTTON YOU WILL GET ANOTHER BOX PRESS START ( WAITING FOR RECEIVER )

6 NOW TURN YOUR BOX BACK ON AND YOU WILL SEE THE LOADER LOADING THE FIRMWARE

7 WAIT TILL YOU SEE THAT YOUR BOX HAS REBOOTED BEFORE REMOVING ANY CABLES

8 NOW YOU HAVE FLASHED YOUR BOX


DOING A CHANNEL DUMP

ON THE LOADER ON THE BOTTOM PRESS UPLOAD THAT WILL OPEN ANOTHER BOX FOR YOU TO SAVE TO

YOU NEED TO RENAME YOUR CHANNELS (EXAMPLE MIKES_CHANNELS_20_4_08)

THEN YOU WILL GET ANOTHER BOX WITH CHANNEL DATA ON IT THEN PRESS START YOU WILL SEE

THE LIGHT FLASH ACROSS THE LOADER AND THAT IS IT DONE

TO PUT THE CHANNELS BACK ON DO THE REVERSE ORDER EXCEPT YOU PRESS THE BOTTOM DOWNLOAD BUTTON

hi in glasgow area on nthell updated my euro red box with 21/04/08 filmware getting all the channels but poor picture and sound ok on freeview any help would be great

 

if you are using a splitter this will cause this problem try without splitter on your cable

no splitter on the cable tryed another update still the same

 

thanks Scouser I done a power scan using 6887 when it's finished It now says channel not currently available. I've loaded firmware 28-04-08 as it was saying Quality 8% with the 18/04/08 firmware.
help plz plz. new to this digi stuff.
