put the 18-04-08 on it. As ferg explained above the 28th firmware is for the earlier max Vs,

Do that then come back on here.

Karl I see you beat me too it lol ;)

ok dont wanna tread on anyones toes here, but the newer boxes if they have been sorted before shipping should they not work without a problem and not need firmware updating
rozesky have you checked that you have the catv cable in the correct socket in the back of the box - just a thought incase you had not checked that, as i remebmer a while back a few peeps did that by mistake

I was gonna get another EVM box and get rid of my Dbox but thought id leave it a for now as i finally got the Dbox working.
But hey dont panic coz these guys on here will do thier utmost to get you up n running

I have not had a problem for a few months but just like to pop in and say hi and help if i can now and again and see whats going on

Thanks but they are blank for C*****s Cork,

but on a Lighter note i did get the F 4's on.

what led me to look through this channel list in the first place was some people had contacted me and had only 80 or less and although the 13 TP frequencies were correct ( and Symbol) the red button update didn't work. strange one indeed i thought, even so i brought 2 home and woudn't you know they both worked first time - I guess what you said earlier about work being done in Cork in having an impact area by area.

Tellyou the truth i was happy to give them back knowing the euvox 08's were perfect just TP broadcast/reception probs

linny40 this is what rozesky said- it's a new box that came with no software installed. there's no tps showing after I scan. I downloaded cdf (teeside) is there away that I can check to see if the line feed is live.when I go through the channels I've loaded from the cdf it says no signal looks like the cable might be damaged out side.arrr so looks like I might have to take ntells basic package out.dam dam.
great thread though been very usfull.

All boxes bought everywhere come without any firmware on the boxes now as it is against the law for them to sell boxes with software on them that is why they are still allowed to sell them it is up to the person to put the firmware on there own box as that way the supplier cannot be held responsible for your actions and the onus is then on you if you are caught it is you that will be prosecuted hope this clears this up

I am having problems losing channels with my eurovox 2008 max v.I have got round this problem in the past by just updating channels and it worked ok.I did a full powerscan and now can't get all my channels back, has anyone got the list of frequencies for nthell,so I can do them manually,or is there another way to do it?? I am in the northwest in the uk.(Everyone on these forums seems to be from Dublin) LOL

Don't know the freqs for your area(but don't worry, somebody here will!) but i have found that when doing a powerscan when the signal is weak can cause problems.Sometimes you have to do it later and it works perfect.
Also do you have the correct symbolrate?
