Eurovox Max problem

Barm,

I 6.952 is correct but I'm still missing a group of channels,disney,bravo & s*y movie prem.this problem has only happen over the last few days not sure why?

 

Doe anyone know what other frequencies I should have for ntl Dublin. I've managed to pick up 69 stations using 291.000, 299.000, 307.000, 315.000, 323.000 & 370.250. I'm still missing a lot of the terrestial stations and some sky sports among others. Any help appreciated. i have done a powerscan but it is not picking up anything else.

If you are scanning using a splitter on your cable take it off and then do your scan from the main room in the house

 

for some reason im having similar problems on one of my SVsuper boxes today with certain channels. have done the usual delete and re add but to no avail. Must be a signal thing - coz the other one is worknig fine along with my EV box

I have noticed that Disc channel had no sound( disc +1 and other channels are fine) - but again works on 1 box but not the other.
I am going to try to re scan or delete and re add later to see if there is any change

 

if you have duplicate channels on your box this will cause the same problem have a look and any that are the same get rid of them just make sure they are not your good ones first ok

 

Hey i wonder if anyone can help be was missing a few music channels so i rescanned the box and now i've got no channels at all!! Im only getting "channel not currently available" Im in Dublin on N*L

 

did you rescan as in power scan on 6.887?

 

yeah i rescanned it on 6.887..should i try a different one

 

no 6.887 is for n'l dublin check your coaxil is in the rf in on the box and your scart lead is in the tv on box and not the vcr,plus you do have a eurovox?

 

yeah checked them all everything is perfect...just not getting anything apart from channel lark...

 

what firmware have you on your box?

 

Not to sure what firmware is on it but it always kicked in when it went before so dont think it wld be that now...

 

is the channel not currently available coming up on all your channels?try another power scan start at 290 and finish at 420 make sure you do it from the main feed ie dont have the box signal split and make sure there is not a cc problem in your area by checking the coaxil in your tv.

 

hello all i am new to this forumi have a couple of problems.
1st......i have a eurovox max v now i have recently moved house and its all gone pete tongue!!!! basically the channels work ok for about 3-5 mins then they all go pixelated or no signal. now i was going to try the latest update as i think mine is from sept 2006. which leads me to my second problem. i only have a new laptop so bought a usb-serial converter from maplin (at least dick turpin wore a mask) and a female to female null modem lead. the problem i have is the usb connectors are only on com 11,com 12,com 13 and com 14. i remember reading somewhere it needs to be connected to com 1 to 3.............how do i do this because there is going to be a tv and eurovox box out of my bedroom window soon if i dont sort it.

oh ps i did a full power scan and it has not picked up anything.

please please please help!!!!!!!!!!
