The full scan has finished and has returned to the user instalation page. However, it is blank - no channels, frequencies, system rate or modulator are displayed

Are you definitely using the correct symbol rate?

Are you plugged directly into the incoming feed and do you have the coax into the RF in on the back of the box. Are you sure you have a live digital feed, as in do you have a basic package with VM at the moment.

Hi Gman get where you going thought the same myself as I thought the was an ex C** area and hence the rate should be 6952 but the OP says he is sure it is N** :)

Yep the smallest little thing can catch you for sure. I was talking to a guy the other day & he spent 2 days scanning with no results before I spotted he wasn't connected to the RF in.

Definitely plugged incoming feed into RF on the box. Also, have a current live package with VM. Is it worth trying 6952 on a full scan?

Still nothing on the user installation page after power scan using 6952. However, when the scan was taking place I noticed that the level and quality indictors both reached 85% and turned green at times. Ive double checked the live RF lead and it seems fine.

I've got the message 'no transponder to scan' on the screen.

What other options do I have?? Sorry to be a pain

The software version is 1.0 Sept 2007 - I know there is a newer version but will it make any difference?

Yes the latest one is Kuro Beta 2 I can give you that if you like, but I dont think that is your problem, are you plugged directly into the incoming feed, i.e. there are no splitters.

The incoming feed comes directly from the box on the outside wall. However I do also have broadband and my home phone with N**. Does this matter?

Well if you are connected to the feed directly and it looks like exN** is your provider and you have done a powerscan with both symbol rates although by the looks of things you are N** so 6887 should be fine, cant understand how it is not working. Is this a box straight out of the pack? Do you have a VM box and is this working?

The Eurovox is brand new. Just plugged the N** box in and it is working. There is an attenuator on the cable into the N** box which I don't use when plugging in the Eurovox

Please use it as your signal may in fact be too strong, hence the attenuator.

Right ok I lied! The incoming feed was plugged into ANT and not RF in. I'm getting channels now.
Thanks for your help and sorry for being a donut - think I'm getting somewhere now

Would using the attenuator stop the picture pixellating?

Yep it should if you had one on your VM box just get the same Db one for your EV. And as gman said this has happened many times, but at least you came back and told us.
