Try this first.
Press Menu,
Then along to config.
Then down to system information then ok.

Type back to us what it says in there.

 

hi bumnut again thanks for your help however we sorted the problem we pushed the mute button and the power button together and it now works

i followed all instructions for max v and now when its done the scan is not finding anything at all

the digital screen on the box just says 0000 and wont change channel at all

any ideas

now all you need to do is go to menu config and factory reset to default on your symbol rate (ntl==6875 tw 6952)

ok...select your provider symbol rate...oldtw 6952..n*l 6887....
press ok...press ok again at warning...wait...press red for advanced install....
press ok to start the scan...when finished scanning select sly1 and wait to update channels....

 

Have you tried a power scan, or channel update
To be honest i recntly lost some channels on my SVbox and had to reset to factory settings then do a re scan and them turn the EMU back ON now ll working perfect.
As for the EV if i do loose some which we sometimes due probably due to signal fault i just do a channel update - fi that fails then do a power scan. We dont save any channels in faves so dont worry about channels dumps - saves a lot of time lol!

Glad you got it sorted mate and that i was of some help . I origionally got mine from feebay - but then eeebay cancelled the transaction (apparently the do that now and again) so went direct to the guy and since bought more boxes. So if you want any details send me a pm

I hope someone can give me some info please.

I have 2 2008 eurovox's in my house. One working fine, the other just has a red light on it and does not work. I Cannot do anything with it, no clock and no info on front screen. I have tried to plug it into my computer and the computer cannot find it connected.

Any help please

can also mean that the box needs to be jtaged as well some people did not load the critical update and that is what happened to their boxes

 

yes indeed fergus that update seems a long time ago now,and because the boxes where autorolling most folks never had any reason to come on line with there problems until the eurovoxs stopped autorolling,bloody sellers fault for never informing people.

 

correct as i am not sure if that still applies as i put it on the ones that i fix as there must be something on it that the rest dont have

 

yeah think the first maxv were rushed out because of the clones on earlier versions

 

no there was a critical update that people needed to put on there boxes in order to for their boxes to keep working that was in sept last year so i am not sure if that still applies or not as they said you must put this on in order to use further updates
