Eurovox Max problem

Tnx a mil for that. I feel like a thicko to have missed such a simple thing.

 

switched my eurovox max today and got the message up dating code please wait any one knows the codes for tellewest? and does my box need flashing i dont know how to know if it does please help

hi, i went an bought a signal booster but the problem still presists, the most common level is now 80% but the most channels have the flickering.
VM put a 2 way(not a 3 way...my bad)splitter as we got broadband with VM to.
should i try flashing it again with the previos firmware as i have the one that said it wold solve the 8% problem?

 

what do you mean switched your eurovox?if your box is not autorolling it will need up to date firmware on it,sorry but there is no more posting of codes on this forum,if you need a guide for flashing look in the eurovox help link under my pic.

 

give it a go and come back and let us no what happens.

 

Got that sorted thanks. Can you tell me what firmware I should be using for the Black Eurovox Max 2007 please. It's the one with the diamond shaped channel button on the left. 4shared.com doesn't make it clear.

edscape do you no if its a red or blue,i would say red if its 2007,just count the grooves back from the tuner(rf in)if there is 8 its red 12 its blue.

 

Thanks for replying so fast. I take it you mean the angled vent slots on the side closest to the RF IN Jack. There are 18 slots. There are 6 sets of 24 vents on top of the box. Sorry to be a nuisance.

Looks like a clone. The pics are not viewable on that site but I saw somewhere else that if the screw securing the main board is red then it's a clone. Also the rear of the channel change buttons are black.

karljd, i flashed it with the orignal firmware with the signal booster but it was worse. i then flashed it with the beta2 software but no luck either.
i think ive tried every firmware + i asked my freinds who ivein the same street if they were having similar probs they said NO!
is there any other solution???

 

problem solved, 2 way splitter was fualty, replaced it and now getting 80%.
better go and return the signal booster

 

thank you very much karlid for your quick replay could you please tell me where could i find the right firm ware for my eurovox max 2007 and if there is different firmware for blue and red boxs and how do i know if mine is blue or red please explane to me clearly in plane language because i have no clue about these things.

count the vents on the lenght of the tuner(rf in)if the tuner goes back 8 vents its a red if it goes back 12 its a blue then come back and we'll go from there.
