Eurovox Max problem

hi all
i am in tallaght and had the same problem.i changed to another box.and
both boxes are working fine.What you can try is disconnect box from tv
removing scart power and cable then reconnect thats all i had to do to
overcome this problem.thanks all for your help.good luck

Steve take a note of the frequency they are on, delete them and just do a manual scan on the TP they are on. They will appear at the end of your channel manager and you need to only re sort these back into your favorites, (if you use favourites).

BTW you only show 12 TPs where is 444.000 gone?

i dont believe i ever had freq 440.000

when u say take not of what freq each channel is on ? how do i find this out.

i know what freq i have on the box and the symbol rate they are on etc. are u saying remove freq and do a manual scan so it finds them all again?

i think i initially added all them freq in myself.

Press info twice on any bad channel, they should all be on one frequency I would say. Note the frequency, delete the dead channels, by using channel manager.

The go into user installation and press OK on the TP you noted, then press blue button for manual scan. They should appear at the end of your channel list.

BTW I would add 444.000 and see what you get on that one

 

i'm looking for some help with my eurovox max box.

anytime i press any button on my remote control it enters the number 1 even if i press the menu button etc.

i've tried changing the batteries but that doesn't make any difference does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this problem ?

yes dont be hitting the Any button stay clear of it.

thanks a million to all the guys who help and make life a bit easier on this forum and on the top of the list karlid . flashed my box and power scanned it got 35 pics 200+ channels even sky sport 1 which i didn't have the only channels which i lost are baby tv , cbbc ,citv which i hope some one will show me how to scan for them.cant say thank you enough to all who help please keep up the good work so other will benefit.

Don't want to sound like a smart arse, but the 1 button would not be stuck by any chance?

I had a guy had a problem with a box and when I got to look at it the red button on the remote was stuck in.

 

I have channels missing after doing a powerscan but I find that they are just named wrong, For instance after doing a powerscan recently I lost s*y sports 2 which is a big issue for me but found it on a channel named TVch5, and allot of other channels that were missing were found in these names from TVch1 right up to TVch8. Maybe others dont get the same problem but in my area after every scan I have several channels named from TVch1 to TVch8 which tend to be very popular channels.

 

Hiteck just keep trying until they come in properly, often happened to me but just di another couple of scans and they came in grand. Otherwise just edit channel name if you know which ones they are..

hi does anyone have the provider number for vm ive lost mine and cant do scan for channels. Cheers

How do you mean you lost your provider number on a Eurovox. Noel has given you the provider ID for Telepest.

If you are talking about symbol rate it is 6887 for Ex N** and 6952 for the rest.
