Eurovox Max problem

I've plugged the 6db attenuator from the VM box into the EV, however it is still pixellating - do I need a higher db attenuator to stop it doing this?

I don't seem to have Sky One or Sky Sports News - does anyone know the frequency so I can manually add them? (I'm a VM user in Essex)

hope someone can help with a small problen, i am on ntl dublin and
since the clocks went back my epg times are all wrong even after i adjusted the time on the eurovox
any help would be apreciated

 

I presume you are in Ireland then.Unplug the EV for a few seconds, then plug it back in. Immediately go to time settings, set time using GMT. When time is correct turn GMT off and press blue button to save and exit. If you are quick enough this will also work.

when trying 2 flash beta firmware.reciever not detected??have proper null modem cable.have used it 2 flash b4 .any ideas??

 

Had that before myself just disconnect all cables and if your using a usb ,disconnect and reconnect make sure the cables are all securly fixed

No need to update if you have kuro on your box the latest release just saves having to do a factory reset after you download it

How do you do AUTOSCAN ? I tried following the instructions above but only got POWERSCAN as an option.

 

If you are using a 2008 box with Kuro it is called 'Update Channels'.
Otherwise Press Menu
Go to Installation
Select User Installation
Enter Pin 0000
Press red button for an autoscan/update channels

 

Well guys I am finally giving up :-( .....I still don't know what the problem is, but I think its a weak signal.

I have tried the latest firmware and a seperate booster, but even though I then get all channel names I get nothing I can view and constant no signal popping up....the signal strength and Quality is strange as its green at 85%+ but then goes down to low red..then up...then down and the light on the box flashes instead of being solid.

I know the box is fine as I tried it at my mother in laws less than a mile away.

Not sure what else I can do??, I have had VM out and they checked my signal and said it was fine.

Can anyone offer any help.. A couple of my neighbours and myself are having problems with 2008 Black Box ,every so often it starts jumping and breaking up ,i know its not the signal as i have a 2007 Red Box working fine in another room. They are all flashed with the relevant software so dunno. As i say its not constant but its still very annoying..
