Eurovox Max problem

Scouse, how are ya mate? hope all well..
right, i opened my box right up and figured it is a clone,a blue clone as the trans thingy went 12 vents on the top...i downloaded the clone software, used the boot thing, connected the null modem, and downloaded to box. it downloaded, (approx 1 min) then said 'writing' (took about 2 mins) it then finished by saying successful.
I went back to my tv, cleared all data from the box, and searched all channels again. It has started working, and i did not need to enter the code...can i assume we are up and running, or is there anything else i must do to complete the procedure...????? thanks mate

Cheers pound All you do is connect to the EV and use the UFL, then click browse, save to desktop or anywhere you like really. Now hit upload. Thats your CDF saved to your PC. Then google mediafire and load it there. It will give you a download link, just post it here.

Sounds like a lot but only takes minutes.

Well the firmware is well out of date, you need to update it, do you know what model you have - from the information it will be a Blue box 2006 box === Blue 2007 box === Red 2008 box === Black - these are the models - also there is old models 1 and 2. could be one of these, or a blue clone.
If you gave us a description of the box properly then we can help for starters what colour is the box - is it all black with siver front on it or is it all silver that would be a nice start then we could figure out what we are dealing with post your reply when you get back on and someone will help you easy enough you could have EV 1 or 2 but then again it could be a blue box (2006) or even a blue clone your is obviously 2006 judging by the firmware version posted - then it goes red box (2007) check out at the link and see if you can recignise your model, genuine or clone >>

still cant get this eurovox max v running no idea what the problem is !!!! its doing the scan but there is no channels coming up when its finished the display just stays on 0000 and its wrecking my head at this stage cause i have flashed a few of these and they all went fine apart from this one

any ideas on what i am doing wrong ??

 

oh and im on n*l Dublin

 

Press menu,
pull right to Installation,
press Ok then enter 0000 or 1004,
Press the yellow button Power scan on your remote.
A box will then load saying at the top full power scan,

Enter these details,

Start----------290.00MHz
Stop-----------420.00MHz
Symbol rate----6887Mbaud
Symbol rate----0000Mbaud
Symbol rate----0000Mbaud
Symbol rate----0000Mbaud
Step--------------8

Then press ok to scan.

Give that a try.

 

ok done that mate and i finally found 6 channels but its still saying code being updated and why do you think im only finding 6 channels ??

 

Because they are FTA only. I never asked you what firmware are you using?

 

i had flashed it with kuro 28 04 08 and when that didnt work i tried

kuro 10 04 08 and neither are working at all

dont think im doing anything wrong ?

 

You are it can take quite a while to AU on the 10/04/08 firmware, the recommended firmware is dated 18/04/08.
