Eurovox Max problem

Give us a little more detail, which part of the flashing procedure can you not do,
what firmware have you used,
Which eurovox do you have Blue - Red - Max V? Let us know and someone will help you out.

 

the remotes by the very nature get a lot of handling & abuse, dropping , being sat on, liquid spills & so not usually covered by the warranty,..you can get one on ebay for around £10,..make sure it is the remote & not the sensor on the box,..can you borrow a remote to verify ? also point the remote at a digital camera or camera phone whilst pressing some buttons,..if the remote is working you'll see the LED flashing if you look through the camera/phone otherwise you need a new one.

Anyone's box(Max V 2008) ever stop working with the display showing --:--
Tried re flashing but it says 'downloading failed'
Also tried reset button inside.
Any solutions or should I return it?

hi guys new here, i have eurovox 07 and have lost the sound was woundering if anyone could help

 

Very strange? how my answer to the post above went before the original question??? with the wrong time lol. I posted it at 12.02 but showing 7:02 A first for me.

 

My remote control for my Eurovox Max V has stopped working!!! Any one happen to know if you can get replacements??? I only got the box last September so should it be covered by the gaurentee?? Your help would be soooo great

check your scart cable is pushed home on the box & TV or try a new scart.

 

ye thats what i went back to and it kept jumping from no signal to " updating code " and back again strange but that sorted it in the end anyways so again cheers to all of you

 

ok try this then-To manual scan -,menu installation user installation,ch edit(green button)-red button(add) input the frequency you want(3.47) then your symbol rate 6.887, press ok,exit once press ok on the frequency you've just added then press manual scan(blue button)the channels your missing should come in at the end of your channel list.

 

Ive e-mailed the person i had it from and there telling me that the eurovox max v 2008 isnt made anymore and that theres a new one out with a different remote!! is this true??

 

Yes and yes. But you are still covered under warranty. The Max V seized manufacture at the end of June.

 

Thanks for that, ive just e-mailed him back. I tried looking through a camera and can see a flicking light occasionally not all the time. Ive took it apart and dont see any breaks in the solder or the circuits anywhere. I feel like my arm has been ripped off

Sorry didnt read your OP correctly its just the remote then and you can see it in a camera so it looks OK. Stating the obvious have you changed the batteries? If you have then it could be a loose IR on the Eurovox.

Please note that when you open up the box you may void the warranty.

 

I havnt opened the box just the remote, it was fine till last night then the remote just stopped working. My mates bringing her remote later so i can say for defo if it is the remote. And yeah i have changed the batteries ha ha its bottle blonde not real ha ha.

 

No sellers give a warranty with the remote control's under any circumstances because of the obvious stated all ready
