Hey everyone. I didn't know where to post this so I hope im posting this in the right place. Ok where do I start. A while ago I was asking what leads do i need to flash the eurovox box (2006 was when i got it) so Im not sure if its the black, red or blue version? Ive managed to track down the correct leads but Ive been looking for the software needed to flash the box. Could anyone help me find it please. Also when Im flashing the box do i need to have the box connected to the television or could I just have the box turned on as I dont have a laptop so would need to disconnect my pc and take it downstairs to be beside the box. Small price to pay to get it working again. Hope someone can help me. Thanks. Sparky

    Prob more relevant here..
Hi reverted back to kuro 18/04 all cables are secure, the coaxil is in rf in on the box and scart is in tv scart on the box. No splitters on line either. Set box back up deleted factory setting and did powerscan on 6887 but it just cycles through the frequencies and wont find any transponders. When i manually input a freq say 391, 415 etc the signal strength is only about 8-15%, have turned signal booster on also but no help with that Any other suggestions thanks.

Sorry managed to download the fireware blue 2006 ( I hope this is the right fireware) and I plugged the box into the back of the tv, rescaned the channels however not working. Is there anything that I need to do with the settings on the box?

have you flashed the box with the blue firmware?you do no there are blue clones, blue boxes measure 12 slits back from the tuner(rf in)just look along the top of the box,to see if you have a clone or genuine look in eamo's library under my pic in the eurovox folder and then the documentation folder.

    What Eurovox do you have?
Have you upgraded your firmware or are you entering codes?
Have a look in Eamo's library at the bottom of my post.Everything you need is in there.

    Hey!
I apoligise if this question is been posted already but I can't find the answer.
So I have a problem with a few channels that are very bad quality, I have the eurovox 2008 black. I did a full scan last night but still a few of the channels are really bad quality.
Do I have to download a new firmware or it is just the way it is going to be from now on?
I will appreciate all ur all help.
    Thanks

Is the cable connection split in any way?and is your scart and coaxil fixed securely?press menu-config-system info and report back what it says.

    Thanks for your reply!
I unplugged everything and plugged it back.
But some channels like MTV for example is still breaking up I wonder if need to buy a new scart!I thinks it is coming from that as it is not so bad.

Sorry not I just use normal scart cable from TV to box. It used to work fine but now some channels are very bad quality!
Is there a new firmware to download or no?
    Thanks
