Can anyone tell me where I can find firmware for a Clone Max V 2008 box?

Had a good look round at previous correspondence, Eamos Library etc, can't seem to find anything.

    Help please!!!

A few things, not ribbon cables, individual strands instead, no Eurovox seal, the name, model no. etc printed on box don't match my real one, etc etc.

So are you saying firmware for Blue box will work??

I understood if I used the real Max V 2008 firmware this would kill it, are you sure it won't?

Been waiting to ask you guys for advice before I tried uploading anything, not my box so don't want to screw it up.

Got to go out now, will answer any responses later today. Thanks for help so far.

Sorry thought I'd explained, the box was supplied blank, no instructions so mate brought it to me, done loads of originals.
I spotted it was a clone, not done one before, I know from reading here you have to be careful or they will fry, hence me asking for help from you guys.

Place he got it from know its fake, they're not answering his emails etc, so stuck with it.

I've no option but to flash it, but want to be confident I'm using the best chance firmware to do it.

Will the proper one fry it, or just not be accepted, do you know???

With the eurovox it will tell you that this is not suitable for your box,if it takes the firmware well then its a waiting game, and sorry if i seem a bit smart but it will teach folks to only buy off reputable dealers.

I agree, I bought 20+ for family, friends from Cabletronic, never had a problem, but they stopped stocking them, went to new format. Because the new ones are more expensive, he's gone looking for a cheap deal - not!!

Ok, will try the 2008, see what happens, post a report tomorrow.

    Reall appreciate your help mate.

Hey everyone, just a quick question.

I was hoping to watch WWE Summerslam tonight at 1am, but the PPV channel has vanished.

I have the Eurovox Max V 2008 box, and I can't find the channel anywhere!

    Please help.

    Much Thanks. x

If your on N*L dublin PPV channel is on frequency 299.000, a manual scan on this frequency might bring it back.
