Has anyone else lost Setanta Sports 2?

Noticed a few messages about missing SS1, Hallmark etc but no-one's mentioned SS2.

Mine just comes up "No Signal", and thats it, all other channels spot on.

Anyone had this and got a fix for it?

I'm ex C&W now VM in North West England

    Lads,
Just purchased a Eurovox 2008 Max V. Totally new to this game. I was told it would work with c***us MMDS with a symbol rate of 6887 - and that it was plug and play -- ready to go. We have a strong signal and proper down converter.
I see on other threads that there is a Eurovox T - this seems to be the one most people got for MMDS.

Anyone else get the Eurovox 2008 Max V working with c***us mmds?
Or is it purely for cable?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    /M

You tried scanning with the Internal signal booster On and then Off.

Then if that fails try scanning with the feed pluged directly into the EV take out any splitters.

Yeah, tried with and without signal booster on, still the same. No splitters on cable, direct from outside cable source.

One thing I did notice, when I double clicked on Info, the Level and Quality were showing as 8%, whereas all other channels are 80%+!
I'm assuming this is where the problem lies, does that help?

Channel Frequency shown as 323.00, is this correct for Santa 2?

Theres Kuru Image v3 software "With 8% Signal Fix", newish Firmware out on Chatterbox, this got anything to do with it?

Loaded 28.4 upgrade the other day on a new box. I wanted to shut the AutoSort function off before I did a Channel Update, so I went into Powerscan menu, turned it off, but the only option seems to be do a Powerscan, as when I came out of menu then went back in, the AutoSort was back on.

    Quote from 28.4.08 Instructions
Does that make sense? How do I do a Powerscan without scrambling all the channels back into alphabetical order?

Apologies but I dont understand what you mean entirley,

When you get to the menu that gives you the start, stop, symbol rate ect at the bottom there is the "Fav Sort" you turn that off before pressing the "OK to start Scan" or "powerscan".

    /\ (This is part I dont understand)/\

When turning the Fav sort OFF it will automatically sort them into alphabetical order so how do you want your channels to be displayed.

    For HiTeck

OK, if you load the 28.4 Kuro, it says there is an option to turn off Autosort, by going into Powerscan mode. Got into PScan, turned it off, but it doesn't stay off!

If you come out of the menu, then go back in, the Autosort is back on, so if you do a Channel Update, all your progs. stored in order imported from cdf. will revert to alphabetical order.

Do you see what I mean now, it's confusing me, and I know what I mean!

Ok, think I've sussed it now!!

Just did a Powerscan, test my theory, as predicted programmes came back in random order, however Santa 2 reappeared!!

As I said in previous correspondence above, if I double clicked on Info, Frequency showed as 323, but it seems the correct frequency has moved up to 346!

Question now is, how do I manually amend this frequency, as all my friends got these boxes, and all have the same problem?
