John All I can say is that if you try the % of the quality etc.
yo might find that the line is split Or as i have found recently that the cable is given over to internet while an MMds set up for the tv has been arranged (mds as you may know is terrestrial requiring an ariel) coz if they are cable and you are - and it works for you and not them well its worth a look as on the internet link you can get the TV on without interference .

Only thing I can suggest is that you scan it in each house, Its not really a problem as you say it works fine in your own home.

Plug your box into the feed as close as possible to where it enters your house then do a factory default and powerscan again, also when power-scaning start your freq from 100 to 700.

You checked the C14 cap? < did you replace it, it doesn't always have to be bulging to be faulty.

can't remember who posted this a while back might help with your time problem.

If you are in Ireland that may be your problem.

Its a problem specific to the Irish EPG stream and the EV, in the UK it can be fixed by setting GMT to +01:00, but in Ireland you need to follow these instructions:

    1. Pull plug on the back of the EV for a few seconds then plug back in again..
    2. When EV powers up, immediately press menu, config and time settings.
    3. Set correct time using GMT settings.
    4. Then turn GMT OFF.
    5. Press blue button to save and exit.

It may take more than one attempt so just be patient, it does work. One thing to note though when you have the EPG correct, is to just put it in standby at night, if you unplug it you will have to go through the whole process again.

So have you tried a factory default then a powerscan, also where abouts are you and who is your provider previous to VM,

When you powerscan use symbol rate 6952 only enter it on the top symbol rate box, start it at 100 and end it at 700. step set to 8. but before doing the powerscan do a factory default then turn the box off for a min, power it back up then powerscan using the instructions above.

Are you sure cable is in RF in cause some people put it in ant in, might help, don't have eurovox myself but a few friends have them.

Sorry I'm not doubting you but flashed a few of these and made this mistake myself.;-)
