Eurovox Max problem

im in the liverpool area and ive just lost my nickelodian and nick toons channels ive power scanned and updated channels and still nowt.

can any 1 help please also how many tp s should u be getting currently i have 32 thanks

 

Do a manual scan on 235.000

I dont know for your area exactly how many TPs you should have, I have 36, did you do the Manual scan correctly, Press (Menu) (Installation) pull down to (User Information) press (ok) enter 0000 highlight 235.00 press (ok) then press blue for (Manual scan) screen will go black for a minute but leave it to scan.

 

yes i ticked the box then pressed blue for manual scan and nothing, i have also powerscanned and updated channels but nowt i have all other channels just missing all the nickelodians

 

have you tried doing the scan with your box pluged in closest to where you feed enters your home, take out any splitters and try updating your channels again.

 

unplugged my broadband from splitter and the same all channels except nicelodians

 

Never said that mate, Unplug your splitter completely, (Take out your splitter) eg,

 

Many thanks scOuser, I forgot I had a splitter in the system, I removed it & did a full scan & got the Disney channel's.

 

i plugged my box directly and got a beeter signal of 98 percent but loads less channels only 13 tp s weird dont know what is up

 

i had same problem ,got a diffrent splitter from maplins they both come on try that

 

What box do you have eurovox blue red max V ? also what firmware is installed , press menu config system info then ok, What does it say in there?

 

i have a max v 18 04 firmware it says system info

Your signal is too high this can cause problems, whats the signal strength when the splitter is back inline?

 

it goes down to about 93 i have all channels im only missing nickelodians is there a tp at 299 i think im missing that if there is 1 thanks

 

i also have the signal boost turned on

 

Try doing another factory default then a powerscan using your correct symbol rate then scanning with the signal booster turned off as 93 is still a little too high.

 

where is the factory default also if i do this will i have to flash my box again

 

still no luck. all channels still showing nothing.
I have tried the scan on 6.952 and 6.887 symbol rate

The light on the front of the box is on 'lock' rather than standby does this mean anything?
