Eurovox Max problem

    ah right ok I think I will have to look at how to do a factory reset then. It only all went wrong when I messed with it you see so I am sure the cable connection is ok.

    Yep correct, it is pure luck when you get the odd box office movie, it is because someone in your area has ordered it. Anyway as long as the kids are happy lol.

    if I do a factory reset are there any bad things that can happen?
    Like will I be able to get all the channels by just doing a powerscan again?

    No nothing bad will happen,by the way press menu config system info and tell us what it says.

    Get in !! it appears to be back in action! thankyou very much! ... Me ma loves me again!

    the only problem now is it says "please wait code being updated" on sky sports an tha but I think I know how to sort that one out.

    Like i asked in my last post scoucerto what does it say in your system info?have a funny feeling you havn't updated your box lately.

    no I havent becasue of 2 reasons...i dont know how to and ....it has been ok until now...apart from manually putting codes in. (which I have just tried and did not work.

    my system info says:
    dvb-xc box v tda
    1.0stc4 jun 28 2007
    2.0t k5


    do you see any probs with that karl?

    You need to update your box,the reason it hasn't worked for you today is the c@des have rolled in the uk,all the info you need is in the eurovox folder under my sig.

    mine is down as well with codes being updated, my system info the same except for replace jun 28 2007 with oct 29 2007

    As above folks we no longer give out codes,we can give all the help and support you need to update your boxes,if you folks cannot help yourselves then we can do nothing for you.

    understood, I was aware that you can not post the codes and wasnt asking for them. I thought that my system information was something to do with it

    think have done as sugested, fac default , clear data , powerscan from 100 to 870 mhz on 6.952. However it apeared to pick up53 stations but screen blank and no sig ?. reconnected tw box and cable seems fine. Any ideas for this thickie please , thanx

    look at the date its over a year old of course its something to do with it.

    Thanks karl, no probs about the codes I understand. Looks like i will be hopping off to M@pl1ns to get one of those leads tomorrow. I should have got one a few months ago but I was just doing the updating manually...lazyness!

    atleast I can watch liege beat everton for the time being

    If you have a Eurovox Max 2008 you probably left the 'Fav sort' on when doing a powerscan.Do another powerscan and turn it off
