Hello just a quick query, trying to sort out a eurovox thats not updating for my father in law. I have a replay lite so I presume the flashing is the same (null modem cable from a pc to the box). What is the current firmware and is it in Eamo's library. Apologies if all this is in an earlier post but I trawled a good few pages and didn't find anything. Cheers

Indeed, but some of you continue to post irrelevance in between the (few) genuine helpful posts. We don't allow it in other forums, in fact it's a long-standing Forum Rule. I lurk on most of the long-running DVB threads (to keep an eye out for code beggars) and it's increasingly irritating to wade thru pages of unnecessary posts (in the Forum Rules this is classed as post padding).
You all have your own dedicated thread for posting off-topic stuff -
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/692783 so i suggest you all show some restraint in future and take heed of your off-topic thread's title "DVB People Chat Thread (Keeping Pointless Pap out of Legitimate Threads!!)"

Please show some respect for the moderators by keeping off-topic comments to a minimum or at least think twice before posting something that is not in keeping with the topic at hand.

edited in an attempt at limiting off-topic discussions.

Plz pass on this feedback to sc0user;karljd and hiteck. Had a recent problem trying to diagnose an issue remotely; I have now travelled down and recabled the red box; re flashed etc etc; all is now 100% so I can only assune it was suspect cabling resulting in a weakened signal. All your help prior to the trip gave me the confidence that I could resolve whatever I found. This is just to say THANKS !! Nice to know the help and nfo is there and freely given; and we got to see Torres Tonk The Toffees :--]
    Thanks again

indeed creaky while i respect your point of view and your position as a moderator thats fine your just doing your job in the best way you may think you no how,but if we go of topic no and again its just because we are human not machaine's and we do get excited over simple things like football now and again, and i find your reference to utter tripe a tat insulting ,myself and the other lads are always around to help, plus we do not tolerate code beggars and constatantly point people in the right direction, so maybe i may get a ban over voicing my opinion but at the end of the day i'm not a child and do not wish to be treated as one.your's karl
