Have you tried unplugging from the mains for 20/30 seconds and then trying it again, that sometimes works - similar to what your services provider would tell you to do with thier box did you buy it from a reliable source - if so have you tried to contact them see if they have an answer if all else fails.

Yep, if it is stuck on standby then it is a faulty box, best to return for a refund or exchange (Got to be under warranty). No point in playing around with it if you have onlt just got it.

ive had a eurovox-max for a year now and its great but recently i have been getting alot of picture break up. i have a std reciever in another room and that is fine. does anybody know if this is a start of a problem. ive looked for updates to flash onto it but nothing new at the moment. ive checked all cable connections and they all seem secure. ?????

Could it be a problem with the TV itself?

Try the box on another set or in another location.

I'm a bit baffled by all these posts about certain channels breaking up.....

I have also replaced the full cable and it still happens. On 3 channels only but not all the time on these channels. During ad breaks its fine, but then during the program it breaks up.

It also might only break up on one specific channel during one program but not during another....

Strangest problem I have ever heard off, "during the ads its fine". Are these channels sharing the same frequency?

I have solved the problem for now...

I deleted the broken channels because on my channel list i had duplicate ones which were working fine.

E.G. my 'bbc 1' and 'bbc 2'channels were not working properly but I also had 'bbc 1 audio and 'bbc 2 audio' so I am now using them instead.

Well I read up on what to do...which led me to alter frequency of the channels but that never worked, so I thought I would have a play about and see if there were any duplicate channels...luckily enough BINGO..there was.

Me ma can watch strictly come dancin now she'll be happy!

    Hello,

    Just wondering if anyone can help;

I've inexplicably lost Setanta 1 from my Eurovox Max box. I used to have it, but the actual channel has disappeared now. Ive tried power scans, channel updates, the lot but to no avail.
All other channels are working perfectly.
Im with T*l***st in Lancashire if that is of any help.

    Cheers guys.

    hi folks,

I have a eurovox 2008 and had a ntl digital connection, which has been cut recently. My friend lives in an apt above me, he uses starview and have Basic tv service with NTL. Is there any way i can use my eurovox and watch different tv channels than him at the same time

    Thank you
