Loaded the new cdf file to his box, he took it home, something must have gone wrong in upload, didn't work, so he did a Fast Install, got 30 transponders instead of 37.

I've done it again today, it worked, he got 36 of the 37 working! I also gave him a list of the 37 frequencies, so he can add the missing one manually if there is anything interesting on it.

Thanks once again for your help.

I originally posted this on the 11th, I only got one response from Apollo440, who was talking about Isolators and Attenuators, and that the signal may be too strong, whereas I would have thought it would be caused by it being too weak.

Anyone else come across this, if so how'd you fix it?

    Hi Linny,

I'm on the other side of the pond so I rely on other users to keep me up to date on the Freq list for the UK. I would imagine that the UK list in my Sig is well out of date at this stage.

The Ireland list should be fairly accurate though.

If anyone has a more recent UK list? please post or PM it to me so I can update my Sig.

Change it down 1Mhz to 394.000. You can do this in menu, installation, user installation. Follow the onscreen button guide to edit that particular TP.

Then do a manual scan on that one TP or update all channels. If you have the latest Kuro firmware, turn FAV sort off before updating channels. Menu, installation, user installation. Press yellow button turn Fav Sort OFF. DO NOT press OK, just press exit.

As always appreciate your frequency guides gman ;) The Ireland one isnt too bad to keep up with, but the UK is a different matter. You have N**, C**, and Telepest areas. Then out of the three ex areas you have different geographically areas.

So to do a definitive list for the UK you would be up for most of the night :) And then they go and change TPs again. The best thing you can always rely on, (or almost always), is the Net IDs and SRs for each area.

However it would be very interesting if you could get a list for each ex franchise area and then get a geographical spread of these also to compare. Lots of work and as said they tend to change quite a bit of late. If I can help out please let me know as it would be quite a definitive list, keeping it updated would be the hard part. Hence why you never see an updated list.

I have sat for hrs and complied a list by using the freqs that are used today along with todays channel titles.
I have it in a word doc if anyone wants it Im in Kent UK so not sure if all areas in UK will be the same. But its done in the channel line up that my box gives out.

    How are you keeping sc0user?

I can just imagine what would be involved alright.....

Still, if one user from each area were to make a list & we compiled as best we could it mightn't be that difficult to maintain?
Users are very quick to report a channel missing, so if the spirit was there it would be just as easy to report a channel change??

I appreciate it would take a bit of work initially but at the end of the day it might prove to be both useful & helpful.

Either way, it's something I have no access to or indeed no real need for on this side of the pond but I still maintain it is very doable if people pulled their weight, especially as things are reasonable quite on the problematic side of the fence ;-) in recent times.

Or, maybe it is too much of an effort?

Maybe some of the providers reading this would be so kind as to post the list for us? After all, a big proportion of their staff use the facility, don't they?

    Can anyone help??

I have a Eurovox EX5000 PVR and over the weekend all the channels have started to jump. so much so that its unwatchable. Ive tried doing more scans but nothing changes and even though the frequency level and quality are up at 90%, some channels show as having a bad or no signal. After the latest scan, loads of channels are missing.

    Im in the newcastle area.

    Cheers
