Set 2 try a manual scan on 323000, the others golf and Dmax should be on 291000. Use SR 6952.

Scouser, is the Eurovox EX 1000 SL a replacement for the max v, if so is it worth getting, in Dub. Thanks in advance.

Which firmware are you using? And have you checked all your connections?

Yes mikey on both counts. Its basically a slimmed down Max V.

Just a quick question to all/any of the experienced helpers. Currently I live in London and my cable TV supplier is Virgin...which is fine. However I am moving to Livingston, Scotland where the cable TV supplier could be either Tiscali or BT. Will I be able to connect my Eurovox Max2008 box to either of these incoming signals and enjoy the same range of channels as I do now?

    Hopper,

Do a Factory Default by pressing ,(Menu) pull right to (Config) pull down then (OK) on (Clear Data) enter 0000 for your pin then highlight (factory default) and press-(OK) then (OK) on your symbol rate, which is 6887. Once thats done turn the box off then back on again at the mains.

Now that you have completed the Factory default you can scan for your channels, go back to the (Menu) screen then (installation) and (OK) on (User Installation) again enter 0000 as your pin, Now press the yellow button for (Power Scan),

    Start 290.000
    Stop 420.000
    Sym Rate 6887
    Sym Rate 0000
    Sym Rate 0000
    Step 8

Once you have the setting as above press ok to powerscan.

Thank you for the quick response sc0user - the only suppliers that are listed are Setan Sports, BT Vision, Tiscali and SKY. So I suppose I am snookered

I have eurovox MaxV & today after several interuptions the unit went to no signal sign & was then coming back but with constant interuptions every minute or so.I switched off ,didnt work, I unplugged & all channels have now gone & time was reset back to 1200.Nothing comes up on epg now & eurovox just says "searching for signal"
