It stayed saying either "No signal" or "searching for signal" for a long time but came back a short while ago but every few mins it cuts out & has constant blips with picture distorting so it`s not reallt watchable. Very strange really as a friend lives just 4 miles away, with same eurovox, same set up & no viewing problems ?? I have no clue as to why this is happening but it`s same on other box in house also ??

SAme thing in our area today from about 1.10 pm turns out some guy knoked his wall to make a drive way and he wiped the area !!,
It has happened before that we had a very weak signal for a spell as new estates were being built around here.

dont change anything just remember that this is the reason sky became so popular in the beginning - purely coz the CC's couldn't maintain a proper decent service

Why not put your location up rather that having us guessing where d18 is?

Sounds like something very similar, after being gone for hours now back but with constant interuptions every few mins, like it`s trying to unscramble a picture, sometimes freezes, a loud noise occurs like a signal blip then loses signal for a few mins, then it`s back for a few mins...weird ?? worked fine since flashing box in May up to today ? Dont think there much can be done it seems as not making alot of sense as to why it happening??

Okay we get the picture, it was only a query, but if we said WA12 for instance , don't think you would cotton on.

They are switching over to the recently installed new cabling in both areas at the headend. Thats all.

Everyone knows where D16 & D18 are.........well everyone in Dublin does, we will have to arrange some overseas visits. Purely for educational purposes of course............oh and a few beers in D1, D2, D3, D4............eventually we will finish in D24. This may take a week or so boring I know but guess someone has to do it [IMG]

thanks, what I dont get & appologies if this is a silly Q but why is it when you plug cable into TV, you get your normal channels no problem but when you go through eurovox & try to watch same channel you get this constant interuption to picture or even total loss of picture saying "no signal"

Lets say a subbed box can cope a bit better than "other" boxes during this time.

Only spreading the hand of friendship across the water Antoinette. We have the Good Friday agreement. I propose a Good AD agreement, (well the only agreement I tend to partake in is a good night/week out). LOL.
