Eurovox Max problem

    would anybody be able to tell me the exact name of lead i need hate to get wrong 1 and any clue on price ill keep trying your link thanks

    i was given 1 lead but no way to connect to pc so the usb to serial 9 pin male adapter goes straight from my pc to my eurovox so i dont need the other cable

    If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.

    i have that cable so do i need both cables just put the adapter onto the 1 i already have think i get u sorry to be stupid

    Yes you will need them both if your PC has no 9 pin port

    Plug the USB adapter into PC , then the null modem cable into the adapter and other end into the EV and off you go

    Yes you should be able to flash with that usb to serial combined with rs232.

    See you have advertised Eamos FTA Library elsewhere, it is quite useful and we keep it updated.

    Check your coax connections,also you should have your cable in RF IN.
    If the above is in order you may have a bad service and may have to contact N*L.(Don't envy you if you have to deal with those idiots!!!)

    Sorry also make sure when doing a powerscan you have a symbolrate of 6.887.

    Hi scouser i was looking on the eko site seems there is more stuff been uploaded there is about 5 gtrom loaders take a look maybe need to be cleared a bit

    Barm its a hardware fault Dean sent me a pm earlier and I have told him to send it back to his supplier if it is under warranty.

    Ya he did all right i remember he gave it to us all but i am like yourself have also forgotten so anything could be getting uploaded to the site even corrupt stuff without us knowing it

    True Ferg I do have a nosey in there when I am updating some of the folders but as said we need Eamo to get the sweeping brush out.

    Cheers for the response's lads. In relation to the signal problem I was having : I adjusted a circular dial on the side of the tuner and it seem to work. Does anyone know what it is? Voltage adjustment???
