Eurovox Max problem

Yes true but there has been no sign of him for a while maybe he is away as you said so he might come on and see we are looking for him

ive purchased a USB to Serial (RS232) adapter RS-232 converter cable to flash my box is this the correct cable i have the other 1 just didnt have port on my pc to add also if i update to october 31 software does this add a signal boost and should i get some extra channels mainly stanta sports 1 and lastly how often should u update and flash your box thanks for all your help greatly apreciated thank you.

 

Did you get the one malci and celtic 71 recommended in previous post.As they said you need a 'usb to serial adapter' and also need a 'null modem cable'
Because your pc does not have a serial port you need the usb adapter.
You then connect your null modem cable on to the end, and the other
end connects to your Eurovox.

The answer to your question has been answered several times - you have said that you don't get certain channels etc, and does the latest release have a signal booster etc.just flash with the latest Kuro image - installation - update channels, and see for yourself as said before it is good.

Go To MENU / Config / TV Setting

Options Available:

16:9 True Widescreen

4:3 Centre / Letterbox / Full

2) SIGNAL BOOSTER

If you live in a low signal area and have weak signal problems with poor results when scanning or picture breaks up when watching.

Go to Menu /Config / Settings /Signal Booster and check
The Default Settings is now On
If not turn it On

(Blue to Save and exit)

If it does not sort out your channel loss problems you will have to try a complete re-set and scan

 

Barm/Sc0user, Cheers for the response's lads. I did get that problem sorted. I adjusted a circular dial on the side of the tuner and it seemed to work. Does anyone know what it is? Voltage adjustment???

Edit I have checked three different EV models where is this dial on the tuner?

 

i have the box office channel will the ricky hatton fight be on next week or will it be turned off for the fight if it is will the replays be on thanks.

Hi Anto yep you will find everything you need in Eamos FTA Library, Eurovox folder at the end of my post.

He needs Kuro Beta 2 this is the latest and greatest at the moment, great EPG and widescreen, even an onboard booster option. You will find it in the library as I put it there a while back.

Thats all he needs with the null modem cable. Just hit download and away it goes, (if it is unflashed after he hits download it may say system reset, just unplug it and plug it back in and away it goes).
