Eurovox Max problem

Guys thanks for all your help with the Omne/Small World Cable - Eurovox problem i had, have got 90% of the channels working now which is great! But would anyone know how i would get the rest they are saying please insert smart card.

 

Have you checked the key data codes as I said.

Yeah done that Scouser exactly the way you said, to be honest there channels i dont normally watch anyway but would be nice to have.

 

Maybe they are just not been broadcast by smallworld as they have less transport streams than VM as you can see by the channel list I gave you, that is all you can get. A pain I know but better than nothing

 

Yeah those ones that Smallworld dont provide i dont get as you said, but there are a few that should be available that are not, any clues?

 

Hi I think I've mucked up my Eurovox red box and was wondering if anyone could help. After installing the latest firmware 2.10, i decided to do a factory restore and rescan all the channels but the no matter what i do i can't get it to pick up any transponders, when scanning for the transponders i get full signal strength (97/98%) but it just doesn't find any - I've tried different symbol rates and all that stuff but it's a no go - could restoring factory defaults have changed a setting which is making it not find any transponders?

You need to read the post first he has told you

 

Karl be careful about the information you are giving out as that firmware could kill the box if it is a clone you need to find that out first ok

 

ok fergus i tought the clones were only on the blue version.

 

no there are red ones out there as well

Also there are new black clones coming here very soon as well as clone starview 2TheBox so people who are buying these for xmas need to be aware what and where they are buying from as after the xmas these dealers will be well gone and with your money as the first time you flash these clone boxes they will be dead as the new firmware for both boxes are a combined firmware loader in one so as to kill off the clones so BUYER BEWARE OF THE CLONES COMING SOON

 

Hi, thats the firmware i have loaded - i'm sure its not a clone (got it a while ago and am 100% sure there weren't any clones out then), in the menu it shows as firmware 2.10 - is this not correct? Should it be a different firmware? Any help appreciated as the fights on in a couple of days and i need to get this sorted before then.

If you find out the tps for your area can you manually input them and do a manual scan

Hi, ok I've just checked and i don't know where i got 2.1 from, in the system information page it is showing as having: 1.0 STC4 Oct 01 2007 - is this the correct firmware?

 

Was it working and has just gone like this in the last day or so can you tell me

 

If you could find the older firmware it would be better think it is around may or something might be on the eko page on bottom of my post have a look
