hi all my channels except the free ones have CODE BEING UPDATED been like this for a while how long should you wait before there may be a problem and if there is is there anyway to fix this apart from doing a new powerscan thanks.

 

update finished but setanta sports 2 has gone missing any help or has this happened to any1 else thanks.

does anybody know about eurovox on chorus in malahide as no channels
at all and if you you could start from pluging it in

is it mmds chorus aerial on roof

If its proper digital you have to input the frequencies manually CHORUS
Press menu ,Installation, User installation,Enter pin0000, Press yellow button(power scan) Mode normal
Start 270Mhz
Stop 450Mhz
Symbol Rate 6.875 Mbaud
Symbol rate 0.000
Symbol rate 0.000
Symbol rate 0.000
Step 8 Press ok on remote
Wait and if you have proper cable the box should pick up 13 tps then it scans for the channels and should pick up around 140,but if you have chorus mmds(ariel on the roof) it wont work.If the channels do come in it will say 140 or whatever channels found, exit all the way back to the channels go to a pay channel ie sky premier and wait about 5 mins for it to come in ,that’s it.
Manually scanning channels.
Press menu, Installation, User installation, Enter pin,
Then press ch edit (green button)
Then press Add (red button)
Use the v arrow on the remote change thefrequency to274 change the Symbol rate to 6875 press ok repeat this process for the following frequencies 282,290, 298,306,314,322,371,378,394,410,427,444. exit once press ok on all the frequencies then press manual scan this will then repeat the same process as after you pressed Step 8 on the power scan ,only try this if the power scan doesn’t work. If this all fails your bollixed bring your box down the pub and flog it!

Your just missing a tp have you done it manually then maybe you missed out on 1 off the frequencies have you done the 13 i gave you/

 

I managed to pick up one of the new eurovox 2008 boxes a couple of weeks ago. When I do a power scan or manual scan it picks up around 160 channels however although I get Setanta sports I am missing some of the movie channels and sky sports 1, 2 and 3 - although I get Sky Sports Extra.

In Ex Cable & Wireless area in Manchester anyone got any ideas on how I can get the missing channels it would be appreciated

just a quick question a friend of mine got a eurovox 2008 from the uk and is having problems setting it up the instructions that came with the box are fairly basic in fact a piece of paper i myself have a starview box working fine told him to get one but he would not heed any help mtia

 

at last did it manually and now have 158 channel, thanks again for all your help.
