I'm new to the forum and would be grateful for any help here.

I have an EV Max 2008 (working through Vmd) which has been receiving all channels for a month or so. Recently however the channels have been scrambled or display 'no signal'. I have tried rescanning many times with no success?

I noticed that my levels are all at 8% and fear I may have the afformentioned 8% problem. If my supplier will not replace the machine is there anything I can do? Would flashing new firmware onto the box make a difference?

    Thanks.

your supplier will replace tell him it is the 8% problem he will either replace the board or send you the board to do it yourself all sellers are aware of the problem so you should have no problems as the Manufacturers have give them the replacements boards to fix them

There is no fix available for that fault except the bin sorry

    OK. Thanks for that.

I'll email the suppliers and see what they say.

You do not have to enter in codes just go to a scrambled channel and wait for it to update by itself ok

Oh please stop advertising on the forum thanks

Have you used the programme Voxer, it allows your pc or laptop to receive the data stored on your box and save it. Whenever you have problems like you are having, you can just send the saved data back to the box and it should be as normal again, saving time on re-scanning the box etc.
You will need a null lead and a pc or laptop that has a com port. If no com port, you will have to get an adapter for it.
You can find voxer on the download section of this site.
    Hope this helps

does anyone know how to sort out the time on the eurovox, ever since the clocks went back last month the time of the shows are one hour ahead of what they actually are. when i change the time to be the right time the programme on the info bar changes to the programme one hour ago. for example on Paramount comedy channel now is Becker starting at 2pm but its on now at 1. if i change the time to 1pm becker is still on but it says everbody loves raymond is on. its very confusing when looking to see whats on. can anybody help?
