Eurovox Max problem

    You can do an autoscan and this should bring them in.
    Hi there follow the procedure below
    Press Menu
    go to installation
    the user installation
    enter pin which is (0000)
    then press red button on your remote.
    You will then be doing auto scan(update channels)

    i've tried it a few different times now, and it still going back to 1 hour ahead. i've tried changing it manually and using gmt, do i have to unplug

    Yes unplug it for a second or two then plug it back in. Press menu immediately and then follow the instructions, if you are quick enough it will work, you may have to try it a few times. BTW when you get it right do not unplug it again, just leave it on standby when you go to bed.

    tried that now and i see what you mean about being quick, i tried afew times but still getting the same result :(

    Persistence will pay off :) Make sure you use the GMT settings to set time and then turn GMT off, press blue button to save and exit. It will work believe me.

    i finally did it, i tried doing it with the tv stations on tv and fav, it worked then. thanks for your help dude

    my box keeps updating all the time finishes then works for a while, the shortly after goes back to update or asks to insert a smart card is there a problem or any way to stop this thanks for any help.

    This is because telepest are changing the key data codes , lucky you have the eurov0x and it updates itself :)

    been updating all day works for a short while then goes back to updating.

    The codes changed so many times today you will just to bear with it until things calm down leave it on one channel as when it is updating if you keep changing the channel it has to start all over again so leave on one station and just be patient ok

    Friend of mine has a EV Max V that wont allow him change to widescreen.
    When he tries screen just goes blank.
    Any help greatly appreciated

    Sorry i think the software on the EV is MAX_V_KURO_BETA_WS_SB.rar

    On some channels that function does not work it is the blue button on the remote try a different channel

    thanks for the advice ill just be patient and wait it to settle down. i have the beta firmware whitch adds a signal boost and suports widescreen is this the most up to date and best and how often does new firmware come out thanks for any help.

    Yes thats the latest one and firmware comes out on a not to regular basis, but the latest one you have is the best so far.

    Just one thing, you say if he presses blue button on remote.Is this a shortcut to widescreen?

    No you set WS in menu, config, TV settings.

    He has tried to do this but the screen just blanks?!
    Could it be a bad flash??

    Could be tell him to try Kuro Beta 2 as this is the latest version.
