Eurovox Max problem

Hi, I connected a box that sends the signal from my Eurovox box to another tv in my bedroom. The tv in my bedroom picks up the channels ok but there is a white line moving up and down the screen continously. Can anyone tell me how i can get rid of the white line. I have tried moving the aeriel around on the reciever but this does not make any difference. :-(

 

Is it a Eurovox Max V or a Eurovox TX?

 

Anybody with any ideas my mum is on N** dublin and has a eurovox max she only got it about a month ago and every day for maybe minutes or maybe an hour it reads no signal and the picture distorts and cracks up. I took the euro box reflashed it had it on my tv for hours and worked brilliant my husband brought back down to mams and the same thing happened again any help?

 

Check the incoming feed and see if its damaged or if its running off a splitter , make sure its connected properly , it could weaken the signal going to the EV

 

Will take alook at cable and see if its damaged, mind you when i had it on my tv it was on a tv thats an extension running from another and it worked great. Thanks for quick response.

 

No problem "No Signal" indicates a problem with the incoming cable

Does anyone know if the Arsenal TV is on Setanta yet, if not any idea when its due?

 

i just checked setantas website and its supposed to have started since January 14th, how do i get it on the eurovox?

 

will cdf in eamos for the tx tune the channels as well if i download to box'also is there a cdf for ch//us in navan, cable thay is

 

The MMDS box cdf is different to the ordinary cdf so no the voxter will not be able to sort the channels

And no i do not think there is a cdf for the Navan area as yet

 

also I have d/l tx software to box so just load cdf and that should give you all the channels is that right

 

The TX firmware is only for people in the MMDS area that use C***** and not N**

Also that firmware cannot be used on the Eurovox 2008 Black box

It is only for the Eurovox TX only

 

fergus thanks the problem is a mate of mine got tx he s on mmds tried to scan box got nada just trying to see where hes going wrong[/b]and another chap has cable he has 2008 box both are in navan and chap number 2 can only get 33 channels got freq from one off your posts will give it to him see what happens

 

The freq that i posted are for the Kildare area and prob will not work in Navan but they can try

Also if they are on C***** MMDS they will need the TX Box ok with the uptodate firmware on it ok

 

can any 1 help got the box ,delet some channels how do i get them back

 

Just do an autoscan and they will appear at the end of your channel list.
