does anybody know how to get the new arsenal channel, i still havent got it and it went live on the 14th

Isnt been broadcast on VM as there is capacity issues, may be at a future date. Although I have heard it was on Set**ta Sport 2 in the evening time in Ireland.

A couple of tech questions aimed at somebody who understands TV signals better than I do:
I'm in Dublin - NTHell basic pack, just got the Eurovox Max three days ago and have gotten about 128 channels - not a bad start. Problem is that some are 'shaky' and some have diverted to 'no signal' and some are absolutely perfect. And these types seem to occur in groups - it's not like there's a random mix. Is it odd that on the one feed, certain channels are perfect and others not? I wonder if ranges of signals have anything to do with this - and if so does that fact lead to a way of sorting it out. Is the problem a weak signal, and can I concentrate it somehow on the frequencies (programs) that I want most, removing others. Related questions: If I have a splitter (before the box) would it matter if other TVs/Recorders are swicthed on, or on standby, or completely turned off. Thanks all in anticipation

 

Have you tried it without the splitter? What firmware are you using? If you got to menu, installation and user installation, you will see a list of TPs, 13 in total, which ones are showing as weak/strong.

 

Thanks Scouser. I haven't tried it without the splitter (may be able to try this once but not permanently). I'll check for a correspondence between TPs, and the affected channels this evening. I presume firmware version shows up on a menu/info option?

 

No problem and yes you will find it in menu, config, system info.

 

hi chaps was on yesterday about tx box mymate in navan has i d/l s/w to same autoscaned no joy all channels appeared but are scrambled no joy any ideas

 

Does it say 231107 in system info?

 

as far as i know its just gives the box info plus what s/w on the box whats coming up on screen is bad or scrambled channel

did d/l s/w from 23/11/07 on to one box is that dodgey should i d/l later version 29/11

 

If it says 111107 it has not flashed correctly, this is not anyones fault it is just a problem with the loader. Tell him to do a factory reset and flash again , it must say 231107 in system info for it to work. You may have to try flashing it a few times before it will say 231107 though.
