Folks, im sure ye have seen this plenty of times, but I cant find the answer anywhere.
I have the box from Iwantabox.com got it this week, plugged it in, and I am getting the message scrambled or bad channel

there are various threads about turning on the EMU, but none seem to work with mine, tried menu 1570 no joy and menu/parental control/info 2004 2400 2005 , none seem to give me any option to turn this on.

I have nt.l with UP.C box if in Dublin if this is needed,

No do not use the pvr that is a different box altogether you need to go to the folder marked thebox and find the v4.50e_E there and download that you will also need the gtrom loader as well and a null modem cable to put it into your box

    Paddy,
Don't post the same question in different threads, doesn't go down well with the mods.As in my other post maybe you need to use Jkeys.

sorry it has taken so long to get back to you , i have put the sticky pads over the IR sensor but i can not get the correct code for the slingbox to change the channels, i can get the NTHELL box to change so i know that the slingbox is working anyone got any ideas on the IR mapping of the Eurovox or the company it is made by ?
A Slingbox allows you to stream what is on your Eurovox/Dbox2 ,(anything with RCA or Scart) to another location lets says work :) for instance, if i "was" bored at work then i could run the sling software from my usb stick and watch the footy while at work at 700k streaming.not that i am bored at work(nudge nudge , wink wink)
Hope this helps who wanted to know what one is
