ahhh. thats kinda were my thinkin is, i know sly an vgin have fallen out, perhaps mr maxwell is flexin his muscles again and messin with prem movies, damn those millionares....

 

maybe ask one of your mates or family in your area if they are getting the channela your missing

ok have you checked all your connections are secure ie coax into rf in scart is ok all fixed securely

 

yep. first port o call. Its gotta be something to do with the individual channle surely? you dont have the frequencies and stuff for sly prem by any chance so i can check em...

 

sorry no im over in Ireland but if you dont mind annoying your neighbours again you could try asking them or alternativaley try it on freq 411

My Sly Prem had gone aswell, epg guide there, just no pic, although I stll had Prem2, I did a 'chanel update' scan and it has come back on, same chan, same place, not a new one at the end. Strange. I'm on VM in Bradford, West Yorks and they're both on 499Mzh here if that helps.
Also, anybody looking to watch Wrestlemania 24, the preview is showing on 599Mzh, I presume this is where the actual show will be too, think it comes up as TvCh6.

hi can any1 help me when i go to menu on my eurovox and then to installation go to user installationi enter my pin it freezes on me all the icons are in half,i wont to update me channels because some channels are not where they should be for example more4+1 is vh1 and vise versa any help would be appreciated thank you

 

Is it the Eurov0x Max V 2008 ? Press Menu > Config > System Info and tell us what it says please

 

It does sound like they have moved frequency , Manually delete the channels and then do a channel update and see if they appear at the end of your listing

the thing is i cant get into installation to do power scan and im afraid to clear data in case i lose all channels cos i cant install installation wont open for me the screen freezes and cuts in half dont no what to do only new to this i do appreciate your help thank you

Sorry my mistake for the above post as I realised it happens when you go into installation and then I edited it lol

You could try flash it with the KURO 2 firmware and see if it helps as I have never heard of this problem before

You will need a NULL MODEM CABLE to flash your b0x

no problem,i do have null cable also i have a disc that i got with the box which has firmware on it,if i try this would there be a possiblty that ill lose everything sorry for the bad spelling im tried and going to bed soon thanks very much

 

If you update the firmware on your b0x you wont lose any channels or channel order etc , Do not use the disc you got with it , download the KURO 2 from the link in my previous post to your DESKTOP and connect the EV to you PC with the NULL MODEM CABLE , Put your b0x on STAND-BY and run the UFL_EUROVOX_MaxV_Kuro_BETA2.exe from your desktop and it will update the b0x for you , Wait till its 100% COMPLETE and re-boots , and disconnect from the PC and connect back up to your TV and see if the problem is resolved , If not , maybe when Scouser gets online on Tuesday he might have a solution for you , You can send him a Private Message and he will reply to you when he gets online , you can tell him I sent you lol
