thanks for quick reply ,i didnt know you had to press blue button at all . i was only putting in the code and then ok and exit. going to try that now, will let u know how it goes

 

Hi Scouser any ideas or info on why the boxes did'nt autoroll????

 

Corwal its 54-01 just changed a load of eurovxes for friends and family and all going well.

 

have tried that code and still nothing, whats strange is i have tv 3 rte 2 and chanel 6 and nothing else

 

Are you sure you have input each line of codes correctly check and check again !!!!!!!!!!

 

the codes i have been inputting is
54 01
00=A0 12 65 BD 72 33 FB BC and blue button
01=CO FE OD FB 2C A4 BO FB and blue button and then ok and exit

seriously if anyone can help i'd be very grateful as i dont know much about this stuff, i just found this site for the 1st time tonight!

OK my prob is when i arrived home this evening and turned my box on [EURO-VOX MAX / and i have it since 2007] it just kept saying updating data, so after 3 hours and no chacnge, i went into the menu / user install to do a power scan, but this would not happen / just kept saying updating data,

because this was doing my head in i then went into Config and instead of earsing all channels i went into FACTORY DEFAULT and basically i have no channels at all, when i try do a auto scan - it keeps coming up No Transponder to Scan,

if there is anyone out there that can help "BRILL"

THIS BIT IS ONLY IF YOU HAVE 0000 DISPLAY ON THE FRONT OF EUROVOX 08

to begin goto config, in the menu the Symbol rate in my area is 6875 so try that - by pressing the yellow button this will auto erase all channell data and start fresh - under symbol rate key in the 4 digit no.for your area it shold start listing found channells if it does't the symbol rate is wrong.

THIS BIT FOR ALL EUROVOX 08

if its ok exit out of menu ( as your channells are scrambled ) then press menu again then the yellow button and the codes given earlier

use the correct provider key 5E 01 for ch**us and 54 01 for N*L

decoders work-I'm not looking for a specific
brand just trying to understand in general
how the bits & bytes flow.

hi, i just got a eurovox 2008 last week and im having problems getting it going. im on ntl and iv tryed many of the symbolrates on a powerscan and im having little luck. i picked up 140 channels yesterday only for them to work for only 15 minites and then all get scrammbled. i can now only sometimes pick up frequencies. ive been using 6887 but ive also tryed many others that were posted on this thread. all my connections are secure and im living in leixlip(north kildare). im only 8 miles away from dublin city centre so i cant see how the frequencies out here would be different. please help!!! im getting frustrated with this thing!
