Eurovox Max problem

cheers, ive been looking at this website for hours and its so confusing! ive looked at both scousers and fergusbs posts and i cant find any1 who has this exact same problem. all i need are the right frequencies and syblolrate

 

James as you can see there was a change to the way N** updated their keys. For now you have to manually input codes to get all the channels back from scrambled.

 

oh i see. no wonder ive been havin problems. do you know what the codes i need are? cheers, its much appreciated

thanks for the help. what do i do now that i have that typed in? do i just do a new powerscan? do i still use the 6887 symbolrate?

 

Nothing just exit out to view channels. Unless you deleted them by mistake.

 

actually i did delete all the channels by mistake and i cant pick up any on the powerscan. do you hav a link for the frequencies??

 

Thought so. Press menu, installation, user installation, press yellow for powerscan. Input 6887 as provider ID, start freq range at 291.000 end at 403.000. After powerscan has completed go back into user installation and press the red button to update channels.

Bear in mind that you should make sure you have also the correct codes in place.

 

i have the correct codes in place and im not getting any channels on a powerscan. i dont understand because i got signal before to get the channels. do you think i should put in the codes manually??

ye im on basic cable.its definitely ntl. like i said before i had the channels for a period before but they started scrambling so i tryed everything then eventually deleted them in order to pick up better frequencies. i tryed just there and i can only get 2 frequencies and no channels. the ones im getting are 291 and 299

 

How did you get them in before was it by powerscan or did you have to manually input frequencies?

iv tryed both ways, there was 2 seperate times when i got them before. the first was when i powerscanned. i got 2 channles then added the rest manually. and the second time i picked up 9 frequencies on the powerscan which displayed 112 channels. both times however, i had reception for about 20 minites to an hour before they all started scrambling.

 

anybody know if n** have managed to block signals .euromax vox v stopped working last nite.low signals on sum frequency 68 -70% on others .only 1 channel EUROSPORT ? Tried all scans stiil nothing.Update signal still on show. Any ideas?

If you have done a factory reset you will need to insert keys and then do a powerscan from 291.00 to 403.00 with a symbolrate 6.887

 

. ive been trying to get this to work all day! iv done everything on this thread and my quality is still at 15-20% any1 any ideas???

 

Sounds like you have a poor signal coming into your house.Are you connected to the main cable coming into house? If your not, try connecting to main cable and check all connections

no im not connected to the main cable but iv picked up stations fine on this t.v. before. at the moment im havin loads of problems with this thing. thanks, i appreciate the help!
