Eurovox Max problem

Thanks lads for the help.Wer laughn know!Quick question,hav got my boxes workn fine,but wen tried my mates,in same area wit same codes box still not workin.Hav tried a few times and codes inputed correctly.Probly sumthin simple?Any ideas?Well done again!!

Can anyone help with my prior question regarding the 2006 box, I know it may be a double post but I'm fairly anxious as it's in my little fellas room and the only one not working.. any help much appreciated as always..

BTW to get the letter keys read the bottom of the screen

ie to get an "A" press TV
to get a "B" press RADIO etc it's all there.

Need more info, what happened? Is it saying code being updated? Did it explode? Was it abducted by aliens and subjected to unspeakable experiments?

Yeah nedser i got one working again for a friend by entering keys.
I know from reading previous posts that some people did a factory reset during the dreaded'code being updated' fiasco.They then tried to enter keys and it did not work.Hope this helps

 

Thanks for your reply but unfortunately no joy, I didnt do a factory reset on it, when I press menu and the yellow buton nothing happenscant even try put in the codes..

 

press menue then yellow button on your remote.a small screen will pop up tap in 54 01 for provider followed by the codes which u get on this site. exit out and your back in business.good luck

Nedser,i had the same problem wit a mates box.Cudnt get it going wit codes.I did an auto scan(installation and presd red buton).Wen chanels updated,i keyed in codes again,and its now workin fine.

 

Then again if your pressing menu and notin is coming up ie its frozen and wont let you put in codes or do anything.Then you probly need to jtag the box and thats a whole new ball game man.

 

Sorry can anyone help me- been lookin at the site for a while and you boys know your stuff- for some reason my newish eurovox max v intermittently drops all channels except Rte 1,2 and tv3? I have N*l cable in dublin and usually get all channels but i lose all signal to most channels for days at a time then all 140 odd channels are back? Any ideas? any help would be greatfully appreciated!

 

i put in the codes and power scan and got 51 channels the channels are good, any tips on how to get the rest back

Check your connections.What is your analogue signal like?

 

Slow down a bit Che27, if the box is frozen does not necessarily need a jtag solution, reflashing the box often solves this sort of problem.

 

cheers vardus...checked connection but all was ok- then checked analog signal...no problem there either?
