    Hi, I hope this will help some of you novices, like me, who are struggling to update their boxes with the correct codes.

    Firstly, while searching a different tech website, I found a toolbar called BigMaq. Once installed you'll get an alert of the latest keys as they roll. I've installed it and checked it for spy ware / virus etc. I appreciate that the keys are published here, but found this very useful and should hopefully dispel some of the confusion and reduce some of the posting noise. Once these key rolls have settled, or the boxes my some miracle update themselves, you can just remove the toolbar.

    I also discovered, having been informed by VM that I was provided by N*H, that this was not quite correct for my area and in fact it should be "N*L ex C*W". Hence why changing only the N*L codes for me never worked.

    Here is a link to the Net ID and Frequency List for your area, you might find useful, otherwise it can be found under the sub menus of BigMaq.

    It’s also important to note that these codes are very much country specific, i.e. that there is one set of codes for N*T UK, TW etc.; the same applies to Ireland. So are no separate codes for Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham etc. Therefore, the main check you should do if you're having problem is to identify your provider as I stated above.

    If in doubt, I suggest you update them all!

    Are the N*L Codes gone again in Ireland? I can't get it to work properly and it was working perfectly last night. I have entered yesterdays codes againj but no use?

    Anyone have any idea what is wrong here?

    I'm on N*L ireland. I have a Eurovox Max2008.

    I'm pretty new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have the codes entered and everything worked fine. Then yesterday the channels went and I got "code being updated" on the screen. I checked here and elsewhere and got and entered the new codes. All fine and dandy again.

    Then last night 90% of the channels disappeared with "No Signal" on the screen. The other 10% were still there but the sound and picture were unwatchable.

    I checked the quality on each of the channels and every one of them had 84-87% All the channels came bacak again after about 15 minutes. It's been at this now constantly for the last 24 hours. The codes are still present so I don't think a roll has been done yet since early yesterday.

    What is the problem here? Just as I am writing this EVERY single channel is now gone and all thats on the screen is "No Signal" The Quality bar is still reading 86-87% on RTE1 and 84% on Sports.

    FFS. They are all back again now but the sound and picture were unwatchable. This is beginning to wreck my head. Please help.

    What could be causing this?
