Eurovox max security

    Haven't got a clue as to why this is happening, or not happening more to the point, I changed the Provider I.D to 6887 as you said to, when I go to the user installation the new start frequencies are loaded but the powerscan finds noting, and when i push the red button, it just says "no transponder to scan"

    This is driving me nuts...

    I have tried to remove this several times but cant find where to in profiles

    Might be a silly question but is your feed ok and is all connections a snug fit?

    And do you subscribe to any of your providers services?

    have you poped the box open to see if any dry or loose joints?

    The reason I ask I hear that the 2GEN Eurovox Max V is not as well made as the 1GEN Eurovox Max V Boxes.

    I can barely wire a plug.... theres no way in hell Im going to open the box

    I am just wondering wether you have a short circuit or dry/loose joint at the board where the feed goes for your signal... but I might be looking into it to much.

    No, Nope, Zip, Nada, Bupkis.... not a thing.. as Dead as a Dodo....
    no transponder to scan, nothing.. piece of crap is really getting on my nerves.

    From what I can gather and please quote me if I am wrong you need the new firmware in your box, and it seems that your box is not receiving a signal hence no transponder... personally if I was you I would reflash your box with the latest and enter the codes manually. Obviously if this doesnt work it can really only be a hardware issue or a fault at server providers end which would sort itself out.

    alrite lads, great info on this thread,karl and scouser especially,.....these codes are likely to change every day are they not?
    anyone anymore info on a new eurovox update,my heads wrecked with phonecalls....

    Thanks for all the help
    Got the thing up and going.
    However as usual, I did something wrong. When I went to save the second line 01 I deleated the whole line.
    So I added a new line and imputed the codes.
    All working at the moment but have I done a silly ?????

    Just borrowed this from another site, if anyone is still stuck!!!

    1) Press MENU on the remote control.
    (2) Highlight Language Settings & press OK.
    (3) Press 1968 on the remote control.
    (4) Ensure that the Emulation is ENABLED.
    (5) Press 1968 on the remote control.
    A PAGE WILL BE DISPLAYED CONTAINING KEYS!
    (6) Press the RIGHT ARROW on the remote control until NAGRAVISION is displayed in the heading.
    n** WILL HAVE 2 ENTRIES AT THE TOP OF THE LIST! KEY 00 & KEY 01!
    (7) Highlight the first n** ENTRY KEY 00 & press Ok.
    ( Press the DOWN ARROW on the remote control until KEY DATA Is selected.
    THE KEY FOR 00 SHOULD BE XX XX XX XX etc
    (9) Change the KEY DATA CODES using the RIGHT ARROW on the remote control.
    PRESS "OK" ON THE REMOTE CONTROL AFTER CHANGING EACH VALUE!
    ONCE THE KEY DATA CODE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO XX XX XX XX etc PRESS THE BLUE PAUSE BUTTON ON THE REMOTE CONTROL TO SAVE & EXIT!

    NOW REPEAT THE SAME STEPS FOR n** ENTRY KEY 01, I.E. THE 2ND IN THE LIST, ABOVE t******t!
    DONT FORGET TO SAVE & EXIT !!!!!

    HELP URGENTLY NEEDED PLEASE - NEW TO THIS AND SINCE THE BOX WENT DOWN YESTERDAY, CANT GET RID OF 'CODE BEING UPDATED, PLEASE WAIT'. HAVE TRIED TO GO MENU, YELLOW BUTTON ETC AS ALL THE POSTINGS HAVE ADVISED TO DO AND STILL NOT WORKING - HAVE A EUROVOX MAX. ONLY 5/6 STATIONS AVAILABLE NOW. CAN ANYONE HELP SORT THIS OUT??

    try my previous post,and then put it onto sly sports, it can update to 1300% but generally it should be round 120%

    And theres no CAPITALS allowed whilst posting, its known as shouting and is a no! no!

    help i can only pick up 52 channels.
    when i go into installation there are only 5 frequencies with ch num 1-5.i tried all the scans and still nothing?
