Hi... I am trying the firmware upgrade.. but getting no response from the box ... Any ideas?

 

I have a windows RS232 to USB unviversal driver if that helps, PM me and I can send it 2 u.

 

Im going to wait until the codes roll again before adding the new firm ware , just so i can see for myself that the new firm ware works- although im 99.9% it will. its just the thrill of being able to say ' YAaaahhh!!- it worx!'

Guys I have USB Serial Adapter connect to Null modem cable RS232 cable and I am not getting a connection between my laptop and the EuroVoX Max.

Any tips please

Same thing here, my usb to rs232 cable is not working, tried everything..... you better off use an old pc/laptop

 

do any of u have the N*L codes for dublin for the eurovox max.do u think this will become a regular thing.or do i just need to update my firmware

You don't need to wait for that thrill, flash it on to you box and when it is up and running, press the Default Key and watch it update and then you can right ahead and say ' YAaaahhh !! - it works !

Because it sure does !!!!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me if the firmware upgrade from last night will work on Max 4 boxes for NTL?

I'm still waiting for a Ch**us user to confirm the new firmware works.
A lot of slaggin' going on yesterday but little info.
Two simple questions
1) Has anyone on Ch**us in Dublin flashed the new firmware and does it work
2) If you download the new firmware do you need new codes to start the ball rolling ie supplier code 5e 01 as was the last one etc.
Sorry for being so tech illiterate -- but I am !!!

I have download the update for chor*s. i went in and manually changed the keys to be wrong to see would it update. it has been updating for last 20 mins so I would say no its not working for chorus unless someone else can shed some light. ill keep you posted..

hello anyone please can you help my bro has a eurovox max he does not have his box so how is he supposed to know which sowtware update to use the one for the blue or the one for the red??????????
