Eurovox max security

using a null modem, tried my pc and laptop, and mine and a friends box, ordered 2 new cables to c if that will rectify it

make sure you are using the right com port go to my computer view system info-device manager-hardware-ports com&lpt double click on your serial adapter click on port settings then advanced and change the port to a figure between 1 and four and no it dosn't need to be connected to your telly.

 

what about the eurovox 2, i know it old but can i get it working again? The codes work until the keys roll, will the newer firmware work on the old fella?

 

ive only got com one or 2?

hi lads downloaded ufl max v kuro 15 10 07 exe last night also got instructions from forum.you do need winrar to open it.flashed the eurovox in about 3mins no probs its black 2007 oct model.i put in last set of codes then symble rate c....s cork and did a power scan all 130 channells ok.had it done before 1850 when they usually scramble not sure it they did to nite used 3 sets of codes last nite

Seems to be a 2008 model u just got it in 07 alot of the software is rar files so ya need winrar to open them try the new fireware for the boxes it only released yesterday its in my folder below

Should do Kuldelski,(Nagra), done a good job changes to the three ROM files but they have been fixed dont worry Have to catch up with you later I have had a lot of late nights cya soon

 

Cant see there been a problem with you putting the new firmware on the Chor*s box make sure you do the factory Default before and after the flash

No mate - not a snowballs chance. The makers of the 'MAX' series had no part in the EV1 or later EV2 production - they quite rightly see it as 'someone elses old box'. If you remember the last flash file for the EV2 didn't come from the midlands based importer - it was later in july 06? but was from the max lot.

Problem is that the seller of the EV2 - was a true 'importer' onlym had almost no product knowledge and piled 'em high sold em low.

When the Max range came along - they drove the EV2 off the market - partly because the EV2's support was slower.

I've still got one tucked away for posterity - but it'll be manual keys for the foreseeable future
