Think it should be 54 01. You're in Ireland, no? Double check. I know nothing.

 

Does anyone know if a fix for chor*s is even being worked on. Is it true that chor*s wasnt even added to the lastest Kuro3 firmware???

im o Ch**us in limerick and my friend came to my house last night and added the new firmware to both our boxes and so far tip wood were running fine

Looks like that. One of the lads ( Swords )has loaded the firmware WITHOUT TROUBLE, but is waiting on a change to see if it rolls with it.
But from reading the posts people are saying it doesn't work.
I heard that the lads are working on it however and a fix is due.

Have a look at the other thread on this site about the new firmware

Im in Swords also on Ch&rus on the EuroVox Max V 2008
I updated to the latest frmware too without any problems.
Im waiting on them to change the codes also to see if my problem has been fixed.

If it doesnt Autoroll i'll let you's know.

I also heard that a fix was coming out this evening or tomorrow for Ch&rus customers using the Eurovox.

The latest firmware will not,does not work on chorus.It is a waste of
time and energy installing it on "chorus".I believe it works well on
nthell.I've heard they are working on this problem and should have
results on this sooner rather than later.Possibly in the next 48 hours.

Jayo was it you who said we should start our own thread just for the Ch**us users as codes and problems seem to be different than for N*L and the British lads etc. Sometimes sifting thru all the other stuff can get a bit confusing.

Look i know some things in the forum are like a broken record but ive been abroad the last 10days with work and if someone can help me id really appreciate it.

I fully understand the snag with N*l and that software needs to be updated. but im completely new to flashing.

So:
1: Where do i get the software
2: Whats involved with flashing, i have a USB-Serial lead
3: Is the software a (relatively) permanent fix

Help would be really appreciated!!!!

Guys - the software at CA's site is tested direct from the manufacturer & UK Code teams. It's the most up to date I know off and works for (obviously check which coloured box you have first)

Some old silver EV2 units (need blue image and a replacement MAX remote - no guarantees on this) note 4 SQUEEK
Eurovox MAX 2006 Blue Box
Eurovox MAX 06/7 Red Box & all new
Eurovox V (5th series) Black units - regardless of where you are these are the fixes for the genuine Eurovox.

Only heard a tiny number of cases where using the genuine software, correctly to a genuine box would cause a problem. The problem appears to be either user unfamiliarity with the s/ware, incorrect blue/red identification (want to know how - go to - there's the instant way to tell there and other handy stuff I found) Lastly - some boxes may have previously been JTag'd (with or without the current owner knowing) - if you think the box is corrupt after upgrading - then a clean JTAG should get it back. Get a decent JTAG kit though

NOKIA & SAGEM DBOX's are fixed (the problem with the ROM 7 key has been sorted - at least in the meantime - and ROM 7/10/11 fixed packages for FTPing into your /var/keys can be easily found)

you seem to be the top kiddie for tellboxes, is there any way i can get my eurovox 2 (old silver one), updated? it has been said that Some old silver EV2 units can be updated(need blue image and a replacement MAX remote)

could this work?
